Excellent call. My dad once suggested to his friends relative, who was in a coma on his death bed (only in his 40s) to rub on his chest DMSO with vitamin C and I think magnesium, alternating every few hours. He was awake the next morning and recovered for a bit. Unfortunately his cancer was still too far advanced and died a month or two later. But the DMSO solution was seen as miraculous. This was in Thailand.

Masks, a true story
6-7 minutes

One of the things I learned working in hospitals was about the use of disposable surgical masks, why they are used where they are and why filter masks are not used instead. There are whole libraries of scientific studies available to back me up on this. Such was my basic training. Which includes the following anecdote;

I was in a hurry one morning, running a little late, having suffered a flat tyre on my way in to work. When I went to the operating theatre washroom to scrub up, the theatre’s normal stash of surgical masks wasn’t in their usual place. So after a quick hunt around I found a box of filter masks and put one on. Thirty seconds later as I was washing my hands and arms before going in to help set up theatre for the next patient, the Duty Sister blew out my eardrums with a stern “Sticker! Take that off!”
“Sorry Sister, but we’re out of standard masks.” I countered lamely.
“This way.” She beckoned me out of the washroom and gave me a severe wigging about the hows, whys and wherefores of wearing disposable surgical masks in operating theatre, before handing me a replacement box of new surgical masks to restock the washroom. Once suitably masked and re-scrubbed I was sent back, somewhat mollified but a little wiser, to go do.

What I had driven into my thick skull was this; operating theatre staff were not to wear filter masks as the sole purpose of a surgical mask is to stop us breathing pathogens over an open wound. Surgical operations open a wound cavity in someone’s body and not breathing the host of lurgis normally resident in your airways all over that gaping red maw is a jolly good thing as it massively reduces the amount of dead bodies in the mortuary.

If you’ve ever seen (and smelled) a really bad (and fortunately extremely rare) wound infection, they are pretty stomach turning affairs and occasionally even seasoned ward staff could be found chundering in the wards sluice.

The thing is with masks is that they have the potential to be both good and bad. Disposable surgical masks should only ever be worn once, as should N95’s, the clue being the word ‘disposable’, and they all have limited facility. Masks are only useful in reducing the radius of infection from you over other people. They cannot stop viral transmission, only reduce the area you, as a potentially infected person, can breathe potential infection out. If you’re infectious, was the rule, you were not allowed in theatre at all. Staph Aureus and E.Coli, to name but two, are nasty things to be avoided if at all possible.

A cloth mask is, as I have stated before, a one-time-only get-you-home affair and should never be worn twice without a thorough sanitising. A cloth mask must be thoroughly hot washed then heat treated to above boiling point with a hot iron and sealed in a new, unused plastic bag ready for use. Every time before use. Even then it will only offer very limited protection and will need a fresh paper tissue insert as a snot catcher as well. It is also not wise to wear a mask for protracted periods because it will increase your CO2 intake and rebreathing of pathogens from your snot laden sinuses and airways. Which may lead to near constant reinfection.

Now I’ve sat through hours of classroom time on this and allied ENT topics, albeit over thirty years ago, but it all boils down to this; you can’t wear a mask all day every day and expect it to give any level of protection after two and a half hours. Even if they’re part of a full NBC or Hazmat suit with activated charcoal filters, masks cannot completely stop viruses. Not even an N95 standard will do that. If you wanted to be absolutely sure of being virus-free you could try to purchase a total immersion suit with add on gas filtration or an ex-NASA or old Soviet era space suit and set up a decon chamber at your front door, providing your home is hermetically sealed, but that would be a bit extreme now, wouldn’t it?

Therefore the mandatory mask legislation currently being enacted in various jurisdictions has come as something of a surprise. Not to mention looking somewhat insane. The time for masks has come and gone. It went in late March and early April 2020. At the time of writing in August 2020, wearing a mask is purely symbolic and possibly bad for your health if not properly sanitised before each use.

I hope you get better. My sister got this disease, whatever it is, and I know people who died with her (a co-worker who had Diabetes) and I know someone who caught and lost their taste and smell.

Fortunately, most recover. I advise you to sunbathe and drink lemon juice and drink ginger and garlic tea.

[Verse 1: Billy Idol]
I'm all out of hope
One more bad dream
Could bring a fall
When I'm far from home
Don't call me on the phone
To tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive
It's easy to tease
But hard to get release
[Chorus: Billy Idol & Perri Lister]
[Verse 2: Billy Idol]
[Chorus: Billy Idol & Perri Lister]
[Bridge: Billy Idol]
When you hear the music, you make a dip
Into someone else's pocket then make a slip
Steal a car and go to Las Vegas
Oh, the gigolo pool
Hanging out by the state line
Turning holy water into wine
Drinking it down, oh
I'm on a bus on a psychedelic trip
Reading murder books, trying to stay hip
I'm thinking of you and you're out there, so
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
Say your prayers
[Verse 3: Billy Idol]
Now I close my eyes
And I wonder why
I don't despise
Now all I can do
Is love what was once
So alive and new
But it's gone from your eyes
I'd better realise

Why Worry?
Posted on

3-4 minutes

Hot on the heels of the news from Simon Clark that ASH is having its government funding slashed is the news that Public Health England is going to be abolished.
Public Health England – goodbye and good riddance
It seems to have been a very bad week for Tobacco Control. And probably for the reason I suggested in my last post: the emergence of Covid-19 as the UK’s prime health threat.
But in at least once sense nothing has changed at all: it’s still all about health.
Why are some people so obsessed with health?

Until a few months ago I was blessed with perfect health, and never thought about it much. And so was everyone else I knew. The modern obsession with health seems to have been a new development. Where has it come from? If you read Plato and Aristotle, and in fact any philosopher, none of them seems to worry much about health. Yet they lived in far unhealthier times than ours, when there were no vaccines against any disease, and no cures either.

Why is it that in one of the healthiest times in history that so many people now seem to worry about little else?
One possible explanation is that only healthy people will ever worry about health. It’s only when you’ve got something that you can worry about losing it.

The same applies with Climate Change. It’s only when you’ve got a nice, balanced climate that you’re likely to start worrying about losing it. It’s the same people who worry about their own health who will also worry about the health of planet Earth. It’s the same worry writ large.

Yet even though my health is no longer perfect, I still don’t worry about health. My heart is no longer working quite as well as it did for the past 72 years of my life. But is that very surprising? I’ve grown old, and people die when they get old. Nobody escapes. And I won’t either. So why worry about it?

So I carry on smoking and drinking as much as I ever did. And I also keep on eating “unhealthy food”, like hamburgers, and fish and chips.
Why stop now?
And anyway I don’t believe that what anyone eats or drinks or smokes has very much effect on how long they live. I’m not a believer in lifestyle medicine.
And also I think – heretical thought – that all lives must end. I think that if a life has a beginning, it must also have an end. If there’s a bookend on one end of a bookshelf, there must also be one at the other end. It’s those bookends that frame the life recounted in the books between.

And I’ve had a good life. In fact I’ve had a magic life. I didn’t get sent off to fight for years in a trench in Flanders in 1914. And I didn’t die in the Plague Year of 1665. Nor during the Black Death of 1347. Nor during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. I’ve been lucky. So why should I complain? Be glad of what you have.

The health-obsessed healthists want to live forever, but I don’t. They’re like those ancient Egyptians who hoped that they would live unending lives in some afterlife. But I don’t want an afterlife. I’m just grateful for the beautiful life I’ve already lived.

Big news... I tested negative. Symptoms are going away...Doctors cannot identify what it is.
I kept nagging them to give me a diagnosis, but they could not.

They told me the big sign was a near to complete loss of either taste or smell or both.

Maybe you've lost your mind, like the rest of the Government approved Koolade drinking authoritarians out there! Shame on you!

Backing the government propaganda is actually killing people. Suicides are way up, people are being turned away from empty hospitals because of the fear of a deep state invention that doesn't exist (covid 19). Stop being an authoritarian

It won't save your soul

On being ageist - Head Rambles

2 minutes

I really am impressed by the Virus.
Not only is it aware of pieces of cloth [any old piece apparently] and will shun people who have face nappies on but it has one really remarkable attribute – it can tell a person’s age. When you think about it age is a human construct based on the number of orbits of the Earth around the Sun and is therefore impossible to estimate without a considerable knowledge of mathematics and historical astronomical facts. Yet the Virus is able to determine a persons age.
How do I know this? Well, it’s obvious really. The Virus hangs around waiting for a suitable victim and will test a person’s age before attacking. Sixty nine years and eleven months? Steer clear and leave them alone. Seventy years? Attack and kill!!
The gubmint has copped onto this remarkable ability and has taken steps to thwart the Virus. Once we reach seventy we have to shut down again whereas those who are a few days off the milestone are free to live their lives as normal. If this Virus had struck just a few months ago I would have been grand but now I’m in mortal danger.
Of course the Virus has other amazing abilities such as the ability to count how many people are in a room, and even differentiate between a house and a church.
It really is an incredible wonder of nature.

Here is clear evidence that they have long term plans in place and that things will never return to 'normal'

This is what coronavirus will do to our offices and homes - BBC News

What really freaks me out is that I had recently decided to move further out from the city, maybe a village on the outskirts. I figured the commute to work wouldn't be a problem as it would be mostly work from home and occasional visits in. Then I see the fictional character in this article doing exactly the same thing, did I actually have this idea for myself or did they subconciously plant it? I thought they wanted us moving into the city, not out, very confusing! Will have to go full offgrid to be safe now!

What stops the establishment from selling these vaccine patches as normal bandaids, while hiding vaccines inside them?
If these needles are really that small, there are other ways to insert these vaccines into people.
I think they want to run these vaccine campaigns, just to make sure people are still obedient to the State.

Actually you are thinking about the Bolsheviks, the National Socialists were democratically voted in to get rid of the Communists.
I agree, Europe seems quite relaxed compared to how my family and friends are behaving in Australia, NZ and America, they are reacting like it’s the end times. Definitely the language - program at work.

Excellent link. Would have been perfect for the (now locked) technocracy thread: Coronavirus is the catalyst to a technocratic New World Order

Amazing how the changes mentioned in the bbc article, fit so well with the technocratic agenda. It's almost like it was planned!

I agree, but it doesn’t have to one or the other. It can both, plus more. Whatever can be gotten away with. Don’t forget the economic aspect for one. Also, it doesn’t have to be actually carried out- just desensitizaction is enough.
This hoax is huge and quite horrifying. Not only what’s Being done to us but so many people’s zombie reactions.
For me it’s a game changer meaning just like when I found out almost everything is a lie.
Except this was the truth I always read about (History, Bible, novels) and, I guess, didn’t really Believe enough until it happened around me On this mass scale- about human nature.
Of course this isn’t as bad as itcan get, yet. But I am much more cautious and aware now And am making changes as I’m able.

I get the same vibe from social media and friends/family. Govt is quite schizoid here in Aus. Rules, rules, rules... obsession with rules + generally highly brainwashed/apolitical population. I think the govt fear economic collapse and the obvious socio-political consequences. Europe has been going through this for decades anyways. Plus people despise authority and distrust anyone in position of power. Best to dissociate and observe from a neutral vantage point - wherever you are.

No, I mean the National Socialists.

They portrayed Communism rising in the east as the most dangerous influence to society, probably rightly so, but it wasn't the communists who rose to power in Germany, it were the National Socialists. And while they brought prosperity and a new sense of purpose to the Germans at first (the mass euphoria was so enourmous, that most old people in Germany still remember the time as the best time in their lifes), the movement was based on collectivism and obedience. You can understand the atmosphere of this collectivist movement when you watch the movies by Leni Riefenstahl. (The Victory of Faith, Triumph of the Will, Day of Freedom, Olympia)

Germans who didn't align with the Nazi movement were quickly got rid off, when the war broke out they were simply executed. Unfortunately the Nazis were only a tool to bring down Germany in the pre-planned war.

Nevertheless, from most countries of the 20th century, Germany was still the most humane one, for example when it comes to conditions in the concentration camps. But obedience based on collectivism is what it is.

Sorry this announcing it through the BBC doesn't fly for me. The only good thing about the BBC website is it hoards everything its people write so one can travel 'back in time' and see these 'predictions' being rolled out again and again. Just like 'an artists impression' few if any of these things materalise.

Over here Dido Harding (patsies always seem to have distinctive monikers) is a serial patsie and she is now heading up a PHE replacement gorgon. And the masses fall for it or at least the commentariat do but then again the commentariat are on the same team as Dido, authoritarians to a man.

Superbly put. Sanity in an insane world.

EDIT to add.
How the BBC people lie.

Dear dreamtime: I will not continue this discussion after this post as I believe it is not related to the main thread, but you are more than welcome to contact me privately.

Firstly, I am astounded how people on this forum are more than willing to believe that most of our official telling of history has been hidden or fabricated but the recent events surrounding WW1-2 are truthful – It's the same group controlling the information.

Secondly, something to keep in mind – the German people have been subjected to the most severe concentrated anti-Nationalist propaganda for 75 years – this has had an affect on the minds and souls of Germans for generations. So it will be a difficult subject to investigate without getting emotionally involved (which is the purpose of propaganda). Germany is still today an occupied country – legally, militarily, economically and emotionally.

In response to your post – Communism did takeover Germany just after WW1 which led to the Weimar Republic with it's rampant degeneracy – under-aged prostitution, pedophilia, gay rights, and yes 'trans' (it's not new) and Antifa beating up anyone who disagreed with them (sound familiar?). This is what lead to the rise of the National Socialists.

Thank you for the discourse and happy diggings.
