I found an awesome german book (published 2003 by G. Ullrich) about the forgery of European and Germanic history, and in this thread I am going to translate chapter for chapter. The german title is "Der gefälschte Mensch: Zur Befreiung vom materialistischen Wahn oder die Suche nach dem Ursprung des Deutschen Wesens, der idealistisch-deutschen Lebensordnung" (The Falsified Human: For liberation from materialistic delusion or the search for the origin of the German soul, the idealistic-German order of life). G. Ullrich died sometime around 2006, and his works are virtually unknown in Germany, and haven't been translated. He built most of his theories on top of the work by chronology critic Wilhelm Kammeier.
Please create a seperate thread if you want to discuss the contents of the book. This thread is for the translation only.
Introduction
Even today, at the beginning of the third millennium, we still have an image of history filled with contradictions and fantastic impossibilities, which are presented to us in their multitude by science as so-called "historical puzzles". In the end, this leads to the fact, especially when we move further away from the individual parts and details, when we look at the overall picture presented to us from a distance, that we have to realize that not only individual "historical puzzles" cause incomprehension and ambiguity, but that this overall picture contains such tensions that it literally tears apart at innermost contradictions.
Our view of history is a work that takes all confidence away from itself and thus completely lacks the most important thing for our time, namely, to give us the opportunity to learn from past experiences. Only where a clear view is not possible, yes, where the sciences have already proven the most extensive falsifications, where purposeful manipulators have already been caught in many cases, the whole picture has lost its value. Not to mention the purpose of learning from it. Mankind is therefore in the condition of being largely ahistorical and for many periods of time has only single parts of the puzzle at its disposal, which can be put together quite arbitrarily in many way without providing a coherent picture. How can it be surprising that the insecurity even goes so far that history is even called subjectively interpretable, which means that actually everybody can write his own history. It is not only this nonsense that needs to be cleared up, even if it costs us the entire view of history today.
Because today it is not so much a matter of preserving a patched-up view of history, but rather the future of the whole of humanity is at stake. And these forces need history, which has been pieced together in their sense, in order to be able to credibly convey their current political acting based on it. The human history behind it, the current politics, as well as the future that is being created from with it, look completely different than we are led to believe every day!
The great philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche had, by avoiding all history, advanced considerably further than all researchers in history have ever been able to do. Probably the greatest thinker of the 19th century, unequalled in combination of intellectual height and breadth, philosophically unmasked Christianity and the Christian religion like no other. He unmasked it until it was completely naked. Nietzsche had succeeded in overcoming Christianity without even touching its history. What Nietzsche achieved and was forced to achieve on a purely philosophical level, still lacks any parallel in history.
Why? The answer to this question is banal and not at all astonishing: because all historians at all times lacked the freedom that Nietzsche first found in his intellectual height. But how could Nietzsche's work have looked like, if he had not had to spend his whole life approximately with the unclothing and overcoming of Christianity, if he could have even built on historical truths instead of on falsifications? For philosophical thinking in particular always requires an underlying intellectual knowledge structure. If from this subordinate structure falsifications are superimposed and taken up as foundations, the philosophical search must almost always be denied the finding of the last truth. But nothing is more alien to philosophers than historical political thinking, the concept of deception and manipulation.
This is so simply because political thinking is not only too cheap and superficial for philosophy, but because such thinking is fundamentally contrary to philosophical thinking, which is searching for truth and meaning. In the sense of knowledge and truthfulness, political thinkers thus form the negative antithesis to all philosophical seekers. And this antipole has also used up much of Nietzsche's intellectual power. Philosophical thinking has the lure of freedom.
Political thinking, on the other hand, is a servile achievement. A service to the power from which the thinker exists and from which he expects a reward for his achievement. How much more beautiful, how much more enjoyable it is to be a free philosopher instead of a henchman of deceit. Was perhaps the need for intellectual freedom the real reason, not only in regard to the great German thinkers, that political thinking in Germany was and is so underdeveloped?
Did the Germanic peoples and the now German part of their descendants fail again and again only because of their inner need for freedom? Since freedom is the highest value carried in the so-called German being over the centuries and millennia, it was obviously always and at all times the German being, which, with few but then excellent exceptions, made the understanding of politics so incomprehensible to all Germans. Consequently, a political and not a philosophical approach had to be chosen for this book.
For it is not philosophical but political truths and contexts - on which then clever minds may like to base their philosophy - that are to be found. Politics, however, is always a two-track process, and not only since today, but since politics has existed in a conceptually planned form - as we shall see, for many hundreds of years. If political machinations were based solely on lies and falsifications, some of which are quite easy to see through, no matter how intensively and permanently they are repeated and spread, no matter how arbitrarily and with what terror their exposure is prevented (which is not least of all a distraction from finding the "second track"), they would not be successful in the long run, they could not endure, they would fail due to the inner resistance of all people.
What helps all political falsifications, lies, and hypocrisies to their success that lasts until today is the materialistic, the ideological straitjacket into which every individual man is pressed, both spiritually and physically, as soon as he sees the light of day. It is only the accompanying psychological manipulation that forces schizophrenia and this in turn lends stability and acceptance to the daily political lies and deceit. With these mental manipulations the materialistic world view is presented as without alternative! As if there was nothing else.
For it is only by means of the materialistic values imposed on man, from the individual striving for prosperity and success, to the point of considering oneself, one's needs (which have been artificially created), and one's existence as the most important thing, that the individual willingness is generated to accept every lie and deceit, or at least to come to terms with them, as long as this is not detrimental to one's personal well-being. In the end, each individual is thus made a purchasable object through his materialistic world view, which forbids itself any criticism of political contempt for mankind, since it owes its prosperity and existence solely to it.
And even those who still think today that they have found somewhere a niche of survival that is bearable for them will soon find that even the smallest niche will at one point disappear. He who was originally born a free man is caught in a world-view web whose sole purpose is exclusively to take away his freedom, to dominate him, and thus to cheat him of everything that was put into his cradle as a man. This is how man has often become an externally controlled, functioning robot creature to this day.
Anyone who wants to live again as a human being in his natural environment in the footsteps of his ancestors - whereby this "wanting" is hereditarily influenced by these very ancestors as so-called "fate" in every human being, as the researchers of inheritance and genetics have long since found out - is consequently made it his first task to free himself from the materialistic world view - whatever that may be - that has been forced upon him, no matter what "sacrifices it may cost". The profit will compensate and far exceed any sacrifice.
For the profit, as the result is to be called, lies in having finally become man, in harmony with his ancient human values stored in his soul and his natural environment of which he is aware.
