This one is really a no-brainer. When Pliny the Elder dies during the Pompeii event, things do shine in a different light.

In the case of the Old Testament we simply need to follow the technology. What technological achievements do we have in there? These two:
  • The Noah's Ark
  • The Tower of Babel
The Old Testament
The Old Testament is the original Hebrew Bible, the sacred scriptures of the Jewish faith, written at different times between about 1200 and 165 BC. The New Testament books were written by Christians in the first century AD.

The Oldest Bible Source: The Reality
What is the oldest source of the Bible? The answer is - The Codex Vaticanus. We have been through this before. The narrative can date (good luck verifying) documents to whatever time it wants, while the reality remains... we are stuck on this mysterious 15th century. Some unknown individuals were maintaining things to be discovered some time after 1400.
  • Dated: 4th Century AD
  • Located: 15th Century AD

The Noah's Ark
Somebody with the sufficient knowledge of shipbuilding put the following multi-deck vessel instructions on paper:
  • So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.
  • This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.
  • Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.
The end result ends up looking something like this

And our contemporary re-creation...

KD: Some 3,000 years ago the instructions for this monstrosity were written down. Allegedly the God himself provided the instructions. This is often the reason the knowledge is being explained. Kind of... God knows everything. Somehow, in this case his knowledge was limited with the 15th century ship structure. The God did not mention any GPS's and gave no instructions for a Steam Engine.

When did people start building ships based on these instructions? The answer would be - 15th century. In other words at least 2,500 years after this alleged tech was out.
  • The only conclusion I can make would be two-fold:
    • People were idiots for 2,500 years, had the instructions, but only started building similar stuff in 1400's.
    • People were not idiots, and whoever included the instructions in the Old Testament used the known shipbuilding technique.
The Tower of Babel
The same applies for the one of the most legendary buildings in the World. What instructions were provided for the building guilty of this world's peoples speaking different languages.
  • And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar
  • And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower

Why I think the fired brick technology belongs to approximately 15th century you can see here:

KD: This is just a hypothesis I'm working on. Not expecting people to agree, but debating issues like this could probably propel us forward. I do think that whoever wrote the text knew the above technology, and that technology have only become available at a certain time.

Based on what you've read on this site, you could play with dates pertaining to the New Testament.

Also consider the following:
  • Why do we think that the Old Testament has anything to do with the Old Testament. As in, why do we not see that they are not really related to each other, and do not belong in the same book.

I've noticed that the New and Old Testaments don't really belong together. God is portrayed as a completely different entity, for one thing; in the OT, he was angry and vindictive, and in the NT, he is willing to sacrifice his own son to save humanity (although what that actually means is debatable.) The people who wrote the latter are not the same as those who wrote the former, nor did they have the same motivations, it seems.

As for Noah's Ark, it does, in retrospect, seem very modern in its design. Would people 4000 years ago have possessed that kind of technology? Not according to the official narrative. So where did the author of Genesis get the idea for such an elaborate ship design?

Hahah. Why WASN'T the Ark built with future-tech?
Have we surpassed the Abrahamic God in engineering and architecture?

Or has industrialism destroyed the simplism of esoteric gnosis?

Thank you for the good idea. I think this is a conversation we should be having.

Can esoterica/meta/gnosis trump current engineering?
Post automatically merged:

Addendum: The story of Babel had so very little to do with a tower at all, that the current myth is not only laughable, it's offensive.
That's a bad arguing point.

The question is quite simple. There are several interpretations for these narratives.
The history of the Ark and the Tower are allegories for a somewhat prosaic knowledge.
The story of the Ark is about the three mental levels of man. On the lower two levels, inside the waters, are the animals. At the level above men. The lowest levels are the mental levels of the unawakened man, surrounded by the confusion of the waters. At the upper level, the mind of the awakened man who was saved from the sins and confusion of the world. He will dominate the Earth and animals and will not need to fear nature. This man is illuminated by the Light of God that enters through the third eye represented by the door that Noah opens. Then he releases the dove that represents the power of the man who awakens in expansion and with that he is ready to create a new world for himself.
Another interpretation is that the Ark existed and cataclysm existed, but God, using material things, teaches spiritual things.
Others think that the Ark is just a reinterpretation of technology that they didn't understand or of the teachings of aliens that they didn't understand or have been transformed over time.

As for the fact that the Ark must follow the boat design of the 1500s, I cannot give an opinion because I know nothing about the history of boat building.

As a Catholic, I think that God uses material things to show spiritual truths and understanding this is the basis for beginning to understand physical and extra-physical reality.

I’m working on an article based on Cosmic Agency on Youtube. In 1560, troops were sent to Alpha Centauri to free the people kept in cages(This is real to us now on a subconscious level and used against us) by the Dracs for food, skins and slavery. Earth keeps is kept in a mental prison, while we were supply lines for the Dracs.

This battle was played out in the skies and recorded in the annals of Nurberg(SP) Germany, with illustrations, already mentioned in these forum. This is why we have nothing before 1500s?, empty cities(built by Dracs?) lots of children to move across the land(parents were kept from their children from birth on), and lots of catacombs full of neatly stacked human bones(dinner). Drac buildings have their pets on them(Gargoles) and huge doorways, and no bathrooms(5th dimensional world where bodies were different).
As earth left(fell) from the 5th dim because it’s humans who imagine it in, the ground literally sank(this is why the mudflood didn’t harm any buildings—think of the philadelphia project where sailors were embedded into the ship).

This idea answers orphan trains, mudflood, buildings we couldn’t build today, world fairs where we were introduced to the grand cities of our ancestors/or the Dracs, babies in incubators because that’s where they were kept after being born.
I can post the corresponding videos if there’s interest.
