I just got word a few hours ago. I'm still in shock, along with my family. Our youngest daughter, who lives two towns over, has been very sick lately. She's had temperatures, body aches, and something like a lung infection that sticks around. Her test for the virus came back positive. There's a good chance that my eight month old granddaughter has it as well - that test is not yet back. She has no reason to fake anything, and it for sure does not resemble any of the flu bugs that have come through here in the last ten years. Only 520 testing positive, out of a population of 6 million, so it's like 10,000 to one against getting it, but there you have it. We actually only have had two deaths here in the country, but of the Costaricans living in New York and New Jersey we have five dead so far.
