Hot shot college genius and nerd-boy whiz kid team up to build a laser which is later used by the government to mount on a jet as a weapon ("The perfect peace-time weapon").

Hmmm...now where have I seen this before? 2017 Urban fires in California. Could DEW weapons be the true cause?
