Here's an interesting video essay on a developed 68mm motion film standard in the 1890s that's similar to the modern IMAX film resolution. The clarity of the motion pictures captured with it are absolutely amazing. It gives us an unaltered peek of life during the 1890s. Enjoy!

That’s amazing that with this tech in 1890s we are still talking about long exposures and other non-sense.

Thank you very much. I definitely was not aware of this one. Just popped up out of nowhere, huh? Like so many other things...

at 7.21 with Queen vic, wow, now tell us that photography was in its infancy in the 1800s!

The narrator also tells us the interference on screen is static electricity... well, what if is is not static electricity as we know it at all, but either what was, or is left of our atmosphere, caught on film.... brain fart
