The only bit that looks 'out of place' to me (I am feeling that the mud flood is a classic 'look over here not over there propaganda effort put in place by the PTB) is this curving cutting? tunnel? sunken road? on the right in this cropped version of the image which looks to me have to have its walls braced. Is there a link to a higher resolution shot?

Not many pictures of this work in the search engines are there?
And all of roughly the same stage of 'construction'. I couldn't find many at all.
Here's the 'diaphragm wall' (whatever one of them is) builders and a much bigger image of the front on the wall builders site. Would love to know how diaphragm walls are installed. Not much rock around on capitol hill kinda like the hills of San Francisco.

Nice find! It totally makes sense that there would be mud flood evidence on the east side of the capitol. Especially when you compare it to the west facade below. I added the line so you can see where ground level is on the east side.

Well this floor plan looks like any modern PCB(printed circuit board) almost like a computer with a central processing core and all the various control and logic chips, it could even work like a computer of sorts, info(code) goes in one end, get interpreted into something meaningful and action is taken, the only thing is is that the comparison of energy(electric for computer)(motive power-cognative power) is a bit out of scope for us.

Some of them sure do. I will be covering the Library of Congress --Jefferson Building tunnels in one of my future posts about the library. They also used one of these tunnels for the book conveyor system, which was destroyed when they built the visitors center. The link has photos and sketches of the system. Pretty fancy for 1897.

Not that many are interested but the 'curved braced thing' I posted a picture of is a truck service tunnel and I now know the basics of how diaphragm walls re built and why.

From page 14 here: Deep Underground Basements for Major Urban Building Construction
The CVC will include space for exhibits, food service, two orientation theaters, an auditorium, gift shops, security, a service tunnel for truck loading and deliveries, mechanical facilities, storage, and much needed space for the House and Senate.

The US Capitol Visitor Center (CVC) was the largest addition ever made to the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. The CVC building, 50 feet underground, fronts the entire east side of the Capitol. The Capitol itself encompasses 775,000 SF, while the completed CVC contains 580,000 SF on three levels. Initial construction of the Capitol Building began in 1793. The new CVC preserves and maximizes public access to the Capitol while greatly enhancing the experience for the millions who walk its historic corridors and experience its monumental spaces every year.

The United States Capitol Visitors Center involved underground construction of offices, a visitor’s center, and additional space on the east side of the existing capitol building. Construction of the CVC required installation of a slurry diaphragm wall within two feet of the existing spread footings for the building and excavating to average depths of about 50 feet with maximum local excavation depths of up to 75 feet with no movement of the Capitol.

The construction site of Washington is not accidental. This is one of the points of the System of ancient structures (SAMS). All anomalies of the city are connected with it.
