In 1992, England's Windsor Castle began for no reason. Thankfully, precious valuables happened to have been removed right before! The only royal there happened to be Andrew, the pedo. The queen planned on being there that day but happened to changed her mind! So many miracles that day.

"Elizabeth had planned to spend the weekend at Windsor - Friday was her 45th wedding anniversary - but returned to London later Friday."
"The Times of London said many objects are believe to have been saved because they had been removed from their usual places before Friday during electrical rewiring work. In addition, some paintings are on a touring exhibition."

Queen Elizabeth declared 1992 as an Annus Horribillis - a horrible year.

Other things the Royals did that year before the fire:
  • Duchess of York Sarah photographed having an affair and sunbathing topless
  • Prince Andrew separates from his wife - Remember he is the only one at Windsor and also a pedo.
  • Princess Anne divorces husband
  • Princess Diana's
    • publishes book about Prince Charles and his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles
    • intimate phone calls published
    • father dies
  • Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle Sir David Hallifax dies
After the fire
  • Royal family had to pay taxes for the first time in 60 years
  • Princess Diana and Prince Charles separate
  • Hugh Wontner mayor of London dies. He was the leader of two ancient trade liveries (sounds like freemasonry)

I never heard of a livery before so I had to look it up:

What is a trade livery company? They are the self admitted controllers of trade in London.
  • "The liveries grew to become so important that if you wanted to work in a particular trade in the city then you needed to do your time. First as an apprentice learning your trade. Accountable to your master for many years before becoming a freeman of the city after the apprenticeship was completed. The companies governed who could trade. Membership of one was essential if you wanted to make your own way in life."
In 1516 the livery companies were given an order of precedence by the Lord Mayor of the time. The precedence list was basically ordered around wealth and some of the companies were incredibly wealthy and very powerful. At the time there were only 48 companies but the ranks have now grown to 108. Out of the original 48, a ‘Great 12’ was created. These were the 12 most powerful and influential companies in the City of London controlling all sorts of aspects of daily life and trade.
Some of the 12 trade liveries from the 1500s. Today they are renamed themselves or still have special rights
  • The Draper - regulate the woolen cloth trade and its unit of measurement
  • The Fishmongers - monopoly on fish.
  • The Goldsmiths now the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office
  • The Merchant Taylor - controlled the tailoring trade
  • The Skinners - fur was expensive as it was to import, it was a status item and its use was strictly controlled.
  • The Vintners controlled the trade route to a major wine production center
    • Today it still retains the right to sell wine without license in the City of London
  • the Haberdashers now the Horners' Company
  • Today they go by the names - Horners' Company, Scriveners' Company, Apothecaries' Society, Hackney Carriage Drivers' Company, City of London Solicitors' Company, The Worshipful Company of Engineers
  • Their flags

Nice work Tapioca, thanks for this. Cool to see more recent 'stuff'?...
My dad worked in reinsurance, think Lloyd's of London. I bet a million bucks you could draw a straight line from these liveries to the insurance industry.
