This is a five book series that I read sometime ago, but it defiantly deserves a shout here. Be forewarned, the author's more widely read works pertain to HAARP, c-trails, weather mod, etc (read controlled opp, bla bla).. This is fiction, a romp that is an homage to the history of 'conspiracies,' for lack of a better term. Viewed from a double cynical standpoint, one could see it as an homage to staged ops. In my opinion, it should have been collected as a single large volume, rather than five shorter books. Nonetheless, it is entertaining from beginning to end and chocked to the brim with interesting things to research further. Just on a side note, something about the main character, Seven, reminds me very much of the vibe of the posts of our very own @whitewave and I mean that with affection. The entire series can be read in a few days, so just a small detour in your reading. Just read the blurbs and character list and introduction (especially the introduction) below and tell me that your attention is at least not piqued?

Book I: Gone to Croatan

Told from a 2019 perspective when all the Earth is convulsing and the United States of America is collapsing due either to Nature taking back her own, or to a HAARP-driven error, or to a purposeful Tesla sabotage to force a new beginning, the five books of Sub Rosa America comprise an occult history of the United States since November 22, 1963 that we all should have read years ago before we fell asleep in front of the TV and iPhone . . .
Book I, "Gone to Croatan," revisits Sixties counterculture at the University of California in Santa Barbara just after the Bank of America has been burned to the ground. A tangled web of political intrigue generated by intelligence factions back East draws six protagonists together and forces a decision to flee into the Southwest desert where they will encounter a Mayan Timekeeper writing a chronicle of the fall of the New Atlantis.

Book II: The Future Arrives By Stealth

Book II, “The Future Arrives By Stealth,” begins with a last glance at the old California of Father Junípero Serra, Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath, and Hollywood/Pasadena. Once the young seekers exchange the coast for the desert, the mysteries of Time Present and Time Past begin pointing to Time Future, and when the Mayan Timekeeper joins them, Enterprise players back East—already on the trail of Thomas and Baby Rose—shift into high gear. Synchronously, military Strangeloves loose a satellite-engendered quantum Time experiment in the Southwest desert. Like Hamlet’s ghost, dreamers and dead alike are quickened to warn the Sixties pilgrims of the brave new America being brewed in the cauldron of the Enterprise.

Book III: Indian Country

In Book III, “Indian Country,” the Sixties pilgrims enter the desert of Arizona spacetime guided by KRMA radio broadcasts and a stream of quantum encounters. Back East, Thomas’ father Laurence sets out on a European quest for the soul he’s lost, his brother Hiram continues to sell his soul to AT&T and LUCIFER, and Dr. Greenbaum and his Magician contemplate what the simultaneous incarnations of Saint-Germain and Vitzliputzli might signify for Enterprise plans. Cosmic Coincidence Control, dream states, and lost Time lead the seekers to insight into America’s plight even as CIA Agent Simon Iff and Thomas’ twin Didymus track them into the cyborg future speeding toward them all.

Book IV: Jundi-Shapur

Book IV, "Jundi-Shapur," explores the military oil and uranium shadow hanging over Indian Country. At Four Corners in Gallup, Didymus reminds the Sixties pilgrims that they are not sightseers but players in a high-stakes Manichaean drama and ancient initiatic center of Chaco Canyon reveals the military significance of the Jornada del Muerto, even as Thomas' father makes his way from Chartres and Montsegur to Kaspar Hauser's grave and returns to the US determined to do battle with his brother and the Enterprise. Choosing to bypass the Jundi-Shapur of the modern era, the pilgrims leave the Mother Road and head south into the geography altered forever by the 1945 Alchemical Rite of the Destruction of Primordial Matter.

Book V: From Trinity to Trinity

Book V, “From Trinity to Trinity”—the final push through Time to Dallas—begins with “Conspiracy Theory Opera #3” playing to an audience of dead and dreaming scientists in Oscuro and continues to Trinity Site and Ground Zero where a UFO hovers and observes the pilgrims. Once they cross from New Mexico into Texas, chaos ensues and the magical mystery tour is tractor-beamed into the Lone Pentacle state and Bloody Elm Street where the Killing of the King is still tape-looping. Only the Mayan Timekeeper can barely hold the balance by which an alternate future might be levered.

Seven (Lilya Eliade) Old when the novel opens in 2019 and flashes back to her early 20s in 1970 when she met Hermano and underwent an extrasensory initiation in Santa Barbara. Nexus for all characters. Born in 1947.
Hermano Eastern European Time-traveler known in past ages as St.Germain and Christian Rosenkreutz. Traveling the Americas with GhostBear. Ultimately, sets in motion the geist of the pilgrimage to Dallas.
Ghost Bear Lakota Sioux Time-traveler medicine man traveling with Hermano.
Thomas Gardner Seven’s true love, scientist and recluse on the run from the elite New England Gardner family and Dr. Greenbaum. Half of a Mengele twin experiment with his “dead” identical twin Didymus. Yale graduate, born in 1943.
Didymus (Didy) Hauser Thomas’ twin brother taken at birth and reared under Paperclip Nazi MK-ULTRA. Programmed to be a CIA assassin. Born in 1943.
Simon Iff Didymus’ CIA handler with an FBI cover. Reports to Dr. Greenbaum and keeps a distant tail on the vehicles en route to Dallas. Born in1927.
Ray Kofi Black disillusioned Marxist graduate student and Seven’s friend. Sought as a scapegoat for the April 18, 1970 shooting of student Kevin Moran. Born in 1944.
Mannie Brooklyn Jew who arrives in California after a long bus ride and ends up going to Dallas with the pilgrims. Naïve and good-hearted, Mannie sees into the heart of people and events. Born in 1948.
Baby Rose Beautiful blond girl programmed under MK-ULTRA and found wandering near Ojai; sought by Dr. Greenbaum. Has a variety of“alters” (“Alice”) her new friends are unaware of. Programmed with Didymus under Drs. Greenbaum and Gottlieb. Born in 1952.
Vicente Liputzli Timekeeper grandson of a powerful Mayan archaeologist Timekeeper. Sent north with his grandfather’s Book of Days to guide him to chronicle the demise of el norte . Born December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor Day.
Hiram Gardner Thomas’ uncle. Raised between Scotland and America by fascist relatives and placed in key positions for the sake of the Enterprise.Ruthlessly dominates Thomas’ family, even to sacrificing Didymus at birth to MK-ULTRA. Elite gopher for Dr. Greenbaum. Born 1918, graduated Yale1940. Lives in New York.
Laurence Gardner Thomas’ father, dominated since childhood by his brother Hiram. Born in 1920, graduated Harvard 1942. Lives in Philadelphia.
Colonel Seven’s retired U.S. Air Force neighbor; served in every major 20th century war up to Vietnam. He and his Cadillac join the pilgrimage to Dallas.
Dr. Greenbaum Paperclip Nazi and MK-ULTRA “spychiatrist” under Dr.Sydney Gottlieb. Programmed Didymus and Baby Rose, oversaw Thomas under the Mengele twin program. Member of elite Satanic cult in Mexico. Lives in Washington, DC.

INTRODUCTION --- If you've stayed with me this long, please have a look at the short introduction. I believe that it will resonate with the readers of this forum. I like how the first three words that the series begins with are, 'The Story goes...,' rather than, 'History goes...' Parsing words, I know. Finally, I added in bold to something that stuck out to me:

The story goes that human beings are parasites that have been living off the good graces of Earth (a noble ancient) for millions of years, back to the Tertiary Epoch of Adam, adamah meaning earth and blood. As Time’s translation, the human being spins through space, keeping tempo to a Platonic count of 25,920 years, an æonic waltz through the Zodiac wrapped in the arms of Solus Invictus while precariously tilting from his embrace no less than 21.8 degrees and no more than 23.4 degrees lest we burn or freeze or magnetic pole shifts tumble mountains and boulders southward, oceans slosh mightily for days, and ice and rock and volcanic gas belts spend thousands of years raising mountain ranges all over again.

That Homo sapiens sapiens live just one Platonic day of 72 years means they must learn one life after another to listen as a child all over again, sifting through the myths and rumors left behind by dusty millennia until finally, behind bewildered eyelids, they see through the ever-changing appearances of wheat that looks like chaff and chaff like wheat, planting and winnowing until their last breath for the sake of what stirs as a vague memory or premonition. How in four score years can a human being hope to resurrect a fragile self-conception, whatever epoch they awaken in?
It is thus that a consideration of sheer numbers sets the stage for contemplating the tangled skein of that most human of frailties, compassion.

UPDATE: Looks like that since I read the series, it has been rebranded as a 4 book series with a new flashy title. They dropped the original 'the Fall of the New Atlantis,' for the more provocative , 'Sub Rosa America: A Deep State History.' It's all Q now... Here is the new blurb, gives a little better summary:

History and fiction collude in Sub Rosa America: A Deep State History, a 4-book series pivoting around the fallout from two historical occult rites performed at the 33º parallel in White Sands, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas: the Creation and Destruction of Primordial Matter in 1945, and one moon node later the Killing of the King. Love any stories having to do with time travel. Add in conspiracy theory and a resemblance to the main character and I know what I'm doing this weekend. Looking forward to this one.
