Hearkening to the “that’s the way it’s always been” ideology, what the ancient Greeks or Columbus thought is quite important. Mob mentality of the last 100 days is powerful. Mob mentality of the last 1000 years is nearly invincible. People are less concerned with “who were the Greeks, really?” Or “when were the Greeks?” Or “did Columbus exist”… and more concerned with you reciprocating their blind allegiance to convenient knowledge.

I like to peruse FE forums as well, none of which do I maintain an account in… but I do like to read people’s thoughts, ideas, observations… and I derive a morbid type of enjoyment from reading the thoughtless, often verbally abusive responses of those who’ve made it their business to join and consternate these communities.

Perhaps the earth is a sphere, a sphere of such ENORMOUS magnitude that we can’t possibly observe the curve. Perhaps we’re only allowed to access a small portion of the sphere, whether it’s our rulers’ or our architects’ doing. Wouldn’t that be something; both factions are equal parts right and wrong, caught up in debate over the details.

PS one thing about me that can rile people is my irritating certainty about some things...like for example I feel certain the earth is flat simply based on spherical trig. Honestly, it seems like a no brainer. Get on board SH!

Just as soon as alternative history started to gain traction, the internet is now flooded with BS. Not only must one abandon their previously held notions of truth, one must also maintain a very judicious and discerning mind.

Once upon a time we sifted through mostly old falsehoods for truth.

The vast majority of the world seem to believe whatever they’re told without question. A small number of people are ridiculed for saying it isn’t so. As always the question is ‘why would they lie?’. Maybe it’s an experiment to see how gullible the people of this world are. Every now and then people I know well who know my FE views check in on me with ‘You don’t still believe that stuff, do you?’. When I reassure them that I do but that I’ve stopped talking about it because no one listens, they look concerned for my sanity. But start to probe the knowledge of the globe earth model, the speed of the rotation, the speed of the forward thrust of the planet, they are visibly shocked. Really the mockers of FE are either the ones who actually know nothing at all or part of the scam.

It's funny but really sad, that people who are smart, down with things like conspiracies even, who just instantly reject such fundamental realities like the shape of the earth even when presented with 'facts'. But I do know that in our modern era topographic surveys apparently all agree the earth is in fact flat. As for what I was taught, I honestly don't remember. I remember we had a globe when I was growing up. It was an old one and the oceans were black. I am going to go look on ebay and see if old encyclos are out there. At least where I live in NM, I know a good number of older people. For the ones I know it was always globe (they are all old Catholics, does that matter?)

I have a couple of oldish surveying manuals which clearly state that no curvature is ever found or accounted for in plane trig survey over an area of 100sq. miles , so over a distance of say 10mls that means that the curvature of around 70ft is not there. Even Wakopedo tells us that.

Think the 100sq.ml is just an arbitrary figure - can't find the origin of that figure.

The Greeks are the champions of all modern science apparently - they knew all before we did. Erik Toffeeknees measured the size of the globe apparently.

It's hard to find old scientific text books now - especially anything to do with physics, astronomy and rocketry. Old A-Z encyclopedia sets always seem to have certain volumes missing. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

A great resource is https://archive.org/ Sign up and you can read books for free online, including encyclopedias. Some you need to "borrow" but they are all virtual. They also have video and audio clips of historic events. All sorts of stuff! This is also the home of the Way Back Machine. It catalogs websites based on date. It doesn't have everything. Sometimes this will get you around pay walls for newspapers.

When I was younger I thought AI would be the coolest, but now it is just scary. I come from a generation where we didn't have cell phones and had a compass and map when we travelled. We went outside to play and rode our bikes all day. We read books for fun. We could write in cursive and all our essays had to be handwritten. We didn't have spellcheck or autocorrect. I went to college recently and they want everything typed!!! What?! How can you tell the person even wrote it?

What is scarier to me is that this technology has been going on longer than we have been allowed to know about it. Deep fakes are a thing now. This is not good at all.

They are now pretending to make the new technology of lifelike AI people. I'm sure now there are AI people running around IRL, not just internet bots.

This is an apt time to hear this song Adam Freeland "We Want Your Soul". The robotic voice creeps me out. But it makes sense. They don't need us for manual labor. Robots can take over any job. What are we humans here for?

Two things in common with those movies, "They Live" are skeleton people (no real flesh, no soul) and Body Snatchers (no flesh, no soul). There is a thread somewhere around "Nephillim Looked Like Clowns." It sounds funny but makes a lot of sense. Basically in the Bible it says the evil fallen angels, had children who were the heroes of old, then the flood came and killed them all. Not being born from God as humans, they could not go to heaven or hell. Instead they are trapped in type of other dimension as spirits/demons/entities. Being evil they want to steal, kill, bad things like that. Without bodies, they cannot experience these things. They need to possess humans to feel sensations. "We are Legion." Many, many, many evil entities.

If I said I saw a UFO, the usual response would be "You did not see anything. UFOs don't exist. Aliens do not exist." How can you dismiss a person's experience of merely seeing a flying object they could not identify. And why do they have to be aliens involved? They always add, aliens have far better technology than us therefore it cannot be humans not even secret government technology. If it was, would they tell us? They have had drones a long time. Only now are we allowed to buy them for fun. It's brainwashing. Its programming.

Doubting yourself I think it is called the "Bystander Effect." You assume if no one else is questioning something it must not be worth questioning or is already answered. Whatever it is, the majority opinion rules.

That's funny. When they put the Moon in front of the Earth (solar eclipse), suddenly the sun rays are not effectively parallel like this, but somehow converging, which makes the shadow of the Moon ludicrously tiny on the Earth, unlike how the shadow here is 1 to 1 in size as you'd expect.

Not to mention a circular shadow moving across a spherical object gets warped and does not in reality look like this comic strip. Gee I guess it all depends on which lie they're telling.
