Stumbled upon this documentary and thought it would be of interest to people on here. Fair skinned peoples of New Zealand who may have been there before the first darker skinned Māori peoples arrived. Fair skinned lady featured has DNA test which reveals commonality with Persian, Mexican and Peruvian DNA. Ancestors originally reckoned to have left Persia and ended up in Mexico, then settled in Peru. A later group fled Peru and also went to Easter Island on the way to NZ.

Second part of this documentary. Chinese, Australian Aborigines, Indian Hindus, Egyptians and even Celts all mentioned here as possible visitors through the ages. The information about several volcano/earthquake/tsunami disasters and even claims of a comet/meteor disaster all interesting too, causing 'resets' in the region.

Another from Gabi Plumm, Cousins Across The Sea. Ancient linkage across the Pacific.

19 mins 30 in, it mentions an archaeological site that was buried by a mudslide 250 years ago.

'Cousins across the sea' I found to be a very interesting documentary. The evidence they present that the native tribes of Haida Gwaii (in Alaska/Canada) were the first people to travel to and inhabit Hawaii seems overwhelming. The similarity in the two names alone surely can't be coincidental. But there's plenty more to support that idea.

Here are working links for the other Gabi Plumm documentaries;
