that building reminds me of this old pic of some colony in Africa where the houses look too big for the regular size human.

It's certainly an interesting image. However I would add that, knowing how easy manipulation of images is, I have doubts that this is not doctored. Specifically, the man sitting on the step could simply be shrunk to give the impression that he is sitting on large steps. The image itself is not particularly clear, making it hard to discern any other characteristics around the figure to deduce whether it's genuine or doctored. My feeling however is that it is doctored, and that those houses are normal-sized, with an original cropped image of a man sitting on something being embedded and shrunk to give the impression that these houses are far larger than they actually are.
