Questionable Ancient Egypt megathread

Someone shared this video with me today. Thought it might be relevant to post here because I have some questions.

The video states that a study has shown that there are substantial underground structures beneath the pyramids.

However - I tried looking up this study. I think I found it. There are several papers published about this topic, I haven't read them in detail enough to tell if they are identical or just very similar. However in all of the ones that are accessible (one is only available by request) I haven't found a single one of the images I posted above that I took out of that video.

This is just the kind of content to make the alt history community drool. Maybe I'm just a cynical bastard these days but it is a bit disappointing if the reality is that this is just another bit of engagement baiting.

Thoughts?

Yes, the claim is exciting, droolworthy, but absolutely impossible to verify. We are told that via some special tech 'we' can see way underground, and via some special software 'we' can render that 'raw data' into this wonderful imagery. But there is no way to verify any of it. And I suspect there never will be.

This won't prevent reams of additional data being created, which itself will help form the future appearance of a 'historical record'. Lots of documents, videos based on an idea.

All we actually have is a story/unverified claim. Until it is possible to literally see and visit the site personally, one ought to assume that this is just more easy to create fantasy. Software renderings, unverified claims are proof of nothing.

Even if this technology was good and accurate (someone still has to do more than show me a bunch of formulas to explain how tomographic images can be converted into accurate 3D models), in this case it doesn’t even appear that the models these videos are showing were in the study.

Did the study get edited because they were “too close to the truth”? Seems very unlikely, however the buzz around this topic already seems to be “save this video, anything mentioning this is getting removed”

Do these images just happen to be taken from the one study that is not accessible without request? Plausible.

Really just seems like someone took already suspect radar composite imagery and manufactured a whole bunch of fantasy images to match to the words of the study. One thing that stands out is the images in the actual study don’t have cheesy 90s pasted in water and cloud backgrounds like the video in the OP shows. I’m not sure what is particularly “scientific” about a 2km deep structure that has the ground around it represented as sky. Just a bizarre choice for a research paper, but begins to make more sense if you’re just making shit up in a 3D rendering software.

Not trying to turn SH into a big X community notes page or anything. Maybe I’m just bummed out because while I would love for it to be true, everything about it just seems wrong.

Looking into the above topic more, it looks like the evidence of these massive underground structures was stated in a recent press release by the Khafre Project.

That being said, I have not been able to find a source for this press release. When you search for the Khafre Project the only results I get are recent clickbait articles, videos, and social media posts talking about the press release, but no actual clips from a press release, or links to a press release from the Khafre Project. I’ve found posters of the press release, people talking about the press release, pictures from a press release, but no press release.

This leaves me with two options.

1. There was no press release, there will be no new study proving these claims, and any content creator who is promoting this is either part of a knowing disinfo campaign or at best a useful idiot.
2. I have not searched hard enough for the original press release.

I’m hoping it’s #2, because #1 is not only disappointing but also yet another reason this thread is so relevant.

I couldnt find anything - seems to be fake for me. Look at the Substack - its not a real paper.

Ground-penetrating radar - Wikipedia

Dry sandy soils or massive dry materials such as granite, limestone, and concrete tend to be resistive rather than conductive, and the depth of penetration could be up to 15 metres (49 ft). However, in moist or clay-laden soils and materials with high electrical conductivity, penetration may be as little as a few centimetres.

I couldnt find anything - seems to be fake for me. Look at the Substack - its not a real paper.

Not to give this paper any excuses, but I suppose if this is a press release versus an actual paper then it will not look as comprehensive as one of their prior papers from 2022. It does give a disclaimer that the content is a preview for journalists attending the press release, which gives a pretty good defense for it not being thorough.

That being said, I could also see someone running their 2022 paper through AI and generating the images they are looking for to create a narrative.

Ground-penetrating radar - Wikipedia

Assuming this press release is "real" then this issue still exists. Perhaps Fillipo Bondi is an engineering genius and built his own ground penetrating radar that extends the range exponentially from what the current technology is doing. Perhaps most of this content is merely computational extraction from more shallow data - in which case it doesn't make the research any more sound than climate change research.

Sorry if I’ve missed this but where does the ‘6500 years’ figure come from? If you have looked into the precession of the equinox this figure is approximately a quarter of the total which is just under 26000 years. The flat earth ‘clock’ model as put forward by Stergios and Ewaranon show this part of the wider plane being ice free for 6500 years. The more I’ve looked into it, the more convinced I am that this is true and was common knowledge in the past but for some reason - in order to control us all I guess or maybe to protect us from the knowledge of the transience and fragility of our part of the plane - the scumbag billionaires decided it was easier to keep us ignorant of our true history. I have believed for decades that the pyramids were generators of some kind and never tombs. It could be that as the ice encroached on the habitable lands, new forms of heat generation were required. Btw the great pyramid of Giza has large salt deposits in one or more of the chambers - could that indicate it was a form of battery? I give credit to my late partner for his research which led him to believe that Jesus, the light of the world, was actually Giza and a potential light / heat source in the time of the remote sun. The Giza pyramid was originally clad with limestone and possibly had a gold capstone and it was said to be staggeringly beautiful and illuminated.

"Hell of old is Africa. Egyptian monuments were built for the eternal preservation of European Czars/Caesars due to the warm, dry climate. Crossing the river Styx is crossing the Mediterranean from north to south."

It seems that "Hell" was derogatory slang for Africa and "demon" was a racist term for its sunbaked denizens. There must be an old dictionary somewhere that contains the literal meanings of what we wrongly think of as mythological terms. This is almost definitely why native tribes transmitted history orally: it prevents malicious actors from writing incorrect dictionaries and altering historical events.

Presumably "Hell" was actually a nice place prior to its collapse, then the Vatican rewrote history alleging that the Egyptians were criminals and slavers. The Egyptians, conveniently, were not able to defend themselves, having been wiped out by plagues and war.

Such stories as "the harrowing of Hell" could have really taken place, in Africa, and left artifacts behind.

I'm almost finished with Andrey Pustogarov's four-volume "1492: The Beginning of History", which is an amazing read, and which I've discussed in other threads. The first three books are dedicated to Russian history and the last book concerns world history. Skip the first three books and start with Book Four, then go back to Books 1-3. Thankfully, the entire work can be read for free on the Internet here:

ÐаÑало ÐÑÑоÑии / ÐÑоза.ÑÑ

In chapter twelve of Book Four, he discusses the pyramids of Egypt, which he thinks were built in the second half of the 17th century by Franciscans.

The short version:

- The story of Christ's crucifixion in Jerusalem is war propaganda cooked up by the Habsburgs to justify their war against the Ottomans. At this time, Jerusalem = Constantinople.

- At some point, the Habsburgs, the Ottomans, and the Protestants reach a truce, which leads to the creation of the Bible. Political propaganda of the 16th-17th centuries is banished to a recently invented antiquity as part of the truce. One of the conditions of the Ottomans is that Jerusalem be "moved" to stop the West from repeatedly attacking Constantinople. Someone comes up with the brilliant idea to move it to Egypt.

- Pyramids are built there by Franciscans based on earlier, smaller pyramid architecture in Rome and Central America (check out Pirro Ligorio's 1561 map of Rome, which is chockablock with "Egyptian-style" pyramids). Pustogarov argues very logically that the small pyramids probably came before the big ones.

- Egypt was intended to function as the replacement Jerusalem and a pilgrimage site. The massive pyramids were designed to function as a stage set for the mysteries of the Resurrection. Christianity is still partially Dionysian/Mithraic at this point. Pustogarov claims they were built of early concrete and would have taken approximately ten years to complete using existing technology.

- The pyramids were built, then immediately abandoned by the Ottoman Empire when they lost control of the territory to the Mamluks. Apparently the Ottomans had enough of a stake in the project to be able to pull the plug on it and transfer it to El-Quds. This is when the modern-day Jerusalem was built.

- No explanation for why they didn't build pyramids in the "new" Jerusalem.

Keep in mind that this reconstruction, which seems quite logical to me, does not attempt to explain why the particular form of the pyramid was chosen, first in Rome, then in Central America, then in Egypt. This leaves the door open to explanations such as those put forward by Christopher Dunn, who suggests the Great Pyramid was some kind of power plant. I read his book and found it well-argued. Is it possible that the "energy-channeling" properties of the pyramid form were chosen to provide "special effects" for men being initiated into the mysteries? Or perhaps it goes farther than that and the pyramids were actually used to channel some kind of plasma entities? That's all highly speculative. However, the mystery of all the possible "antiquitech" associated with old structures is completely ignored by the New Chronology. This is healthy inasmuch as it limits the fantasizing of alternative history researchers, who are often far too eager to skip the boring work of examining old documents/artifacts and jump straight to metaphysical explanations (I include myself in this guilty category). On the other hand, there just seems to be too much evidence that some kind of etheric technology was used in the past. There is no other way to explain the design of so much of this unnecessarily ornate architecture, not to mention the many wild artifacts that appear to be technological devices of some sort. I can't wrap my head around how they were able to just erase all memory of it, however. This remains a major question mark for me.

As for the supposed massive structures underneath the pyramids...I assume that's a hoax, but what do I know?

Also the Egyptian language was Sumerian. Hieroglyphics are just ancient emojis. Where are all of ancient Egypt's books?

Maybe it's me, but is there one example of antiquitech? Looking at a photo and being confused at what you're looking at, is certainly not the kind of thing I mean.

Is there/any some machinery that we can check that fits the bill? An ancient batteryless torch, or a heating element with an unknown power source? I'm not aware of any antiquitech that has been subjected to a 'tear down'.

The lack of any evidence makes me think antiquitech is in the realms of fantasy. Ornate design is not evidence of anything except ornate design. I accept that there may be such evidence that I am in ignorance of - if so, I'd love to see it.

Exactly. Ornate design is in itself weak evidence for antiquitech inasmuch as market economics generally dictate that structures be no more complex than necessary to save costs. Given the complexities associated with building and production before the industrial revolution, it seems even less likely that so much unnecessarily labor-intensive ornamentation would be commissioned when simpler structures would do. Then again, perhaps it was precisely the absence of a market economy that made it possible for so much labor to be "wasted" on ornamentation. After all, if surplus production cannot be converted on an open market into more money and therefore more power (via mercenaries, or new ships, or whatever) for the sovereign, then the most "efficient" way for him to dispose of the "resource" of his serfs' labor would be to force them to spend lifetimes creating over-ornate structures and artifacts for purely ostentatious reasons (ostentation having a hypnotic and therefore power-augmenting effect). But was there ever a time without markets as we know them? As for proof of "antiquitech", you're quite right, none of it works, which leads people to patch the gap by suggesting that "etheric conditions have changed" or perhaps "the widespread use of electricity has neutralized the field" or such similar dodges. Without going into too much detail as it's maybe not the right thread for that, a quick list of "clues" off the top of my head that antiquitech once existed might be:

- the observed and totally unexplained phenomenon of ball lightning

- the old engravings of illuminated castles and cathedrals with what appear to be something other than candles

- all psychic phenomena, from psychic dreams (I've had one, which was enough to prove their reality to me) to near death experiences and so on

- in the case of the Great Pyramid, Dunn's whole book arguing it was a resonator (now broken with missing pieces). Theoretically for Dunn it could work again, but we'd have to build another one to test it...

In my "Temples and Churches" thread there is tons of circumstantial evidence, but crucially no proof, presented for these ideas. Likewise in "The Lost Key". Actually, that's precisely why I've basically suspended that line of inquiry to focus on New Chronology, which involves no metaphysical speculation, but massively begs the question: if our history is only a thousand or fewer years old, WTF came before that?

I suspect there's more to "antiquitech" than wishful thinking, but that's basically a hunch at this point. Feralimal, your skepticism is healthy epistemology.

I'm currently going through Anthelme Arvière's extensive archives on the French "recentist" Facebook page, Déprogrammation Historique. Arvière is a hard recentist who thinks the calendar began around 1500 and that the version of history we know was written after the Napoleonic Reset by a network of French, British, German, and Russian aristocrats. At least that's what I have pieced together so far. His research is excellent and original with lots of surprising documents and images. He thinks Napoleon built the pyramids as part of a mining operation.

Unfortunately he appears to have no website. He posts exclusively on Facebook, which means one has to manually scroll down to get to the older entries. A lot of his stuff would be worth cross-posting here but I don't have the time. The following post, however, is too good not to share. It dates from June 3, 2024. We finally know what the famous solar barque of Ra is:

After the god Ammon, who represents the ammonium chloride manufacturing industry, you can also understand who Ra is... the technology of hydrogen production (the primary element) and its use in balloons under Bonaparte, with deployment in Egypt in 1798-1799!
This is a balloon gondola like those built in late 18th-century France... They were rebuilt on-site during the Egyptian Expedition of 1798 for surveillance off the coast of Alexandria, but also to impress the local population by carrying the local gods... our generals of the time. Those were different times... when genius was valued!

By the way, now you know what they show you at the museum in Cairo... 225 years old... for this gondola, not 3000 years!

Here are the photos he attaches:

Bonus: here is an image I copied from another of his posts. I don't know where he found this old illustration, but he thinks it shows how the Great Pyramid was transformed from some kind of mining site into what we know today.

Very interesting.

We finally know what the famous solar barque of Ra is:

As plausible as this looks, I'd still keep an eye on
the allegorical meaning with it's metaphysical connotations. In light of the technological advancement of the pre-Egyptian peoples (of who the Egyptians likely inherited many things) I'd propose that they used more advanced (imposive-based?) technology for travel (amongst other things) and later civilisations used more rudimentary forms (like hydrogen balloons or explosive-based tek).

I could be wrong, but I remember John Anthony West talking about the constructions under Giza in the 1990s.
Also, theres a great book about Napoleon's quest in Egypt with his Freemason scientists by Walter Bosley, [The Esoteric Napoleon (2019).
