I used to think Rosicrucianism was a branch of freemasons and never looked into it. Apparently, it is a similar Christian secret society that’s main focus is healing. They claim they are ancient but accused of fabricating their history.

This info is from “Occult Principles of Health and Healing” by Max Heindel.
  • "Invisible Helpers" or "Probationers" are humans that live a life of purity in the daytime and earn the privilege of being a helper.
  • "Elder Brothers" are spirits who direct the helpers.
  • A patient needs to write a letter with their condition written on it.
  • The letter is infused with part of the vital body called “effluvia" which the Elder Brothers use to create the connection between the vital body and the helpers.
  • Receiving the letter, the invisible helpers now have free access to that person’s body.
  • They only heal at night and avoid the sun.
  • The patient must be sleeping and some have seen and felt the helpers working on their bodies.
  • The patient needs to write these letters continuously for ongoing help.
One man wrote for help, got it, did not write as ordered and his pain returned. He wrote to them:

“It seems as though I am asking a lot of you to take this up the second time, but I did not realize the influence the Invisible Helpers had over me and how much I was dependent on them.”

Quote about black magic:

“The ego is master of its vehicle, a heritage which none may take from it under any pretense whatever. To do so is black magic, whether the person knows it or not and though the benevolent motive would of course have a certain mitigating effect in another direction, the fact nevertheless remains that one is upon dangerous group when attempting to meddle with the blood of anyone who does not desire it and who has not asked for treatment. Except for children until puberty since an essence of the parental blood is stored in the thymus gland. “

They are indeed practitioners of the Magick Arts, I've read about them in the past. These "Little Helpers" and "Elder Brothers" are definitely Demons or lesser Spirits that "hold office" in determinate matters. Though not related to Ceremonial Solomonic Magick, they practice the Arts of Black Magick, perhaps even Necromancy - some spirits could also be souls of the dead summoned through a higher power.
Alchemy features prominently in their workings and if I remember correctly their repertoire consists of various manners of Magick, which they combine to create their very own version, Rosicrucianism. They have drawn also from the Book of Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage - here are described ways of healing through simple (but powerful) writing - though higher powers are always at play.
