The Great Sioux Nation or the Dahkota people were a diverse tribe consisting of bands or groups each living in their own separate area but would come together for council or ceremonies. Currently there are 7 councils or "oceti sakowin" meaning council of the 7 fires.

Jacob Vradenberg Brower explored kathio and in 1901 wrote his book on his discoveries.

Kathio

He concluded The Sioux nation had, over time slowly built their empire consisting of mounds, roads, towns, farming buffalo and planting crops. Their empire stretched across 1/4 of the continental north america at the height of their power.

The Sioux tribes of the East are hardly mentioned when it comes to their history, however it is important to understand the Sioux tribes of the east (Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia) speak an older version of the language.

Maya Ruins in Georgia - The Real Story

The history of the Sioux people can be traced from the shores of Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, Virginia & The Carolinas up through Illinois (Cahokia) Kentucky, Iowa and settling in the Great Lakes Region over time. The reason isnt known but might be due to their lands being invaded.

I did have a lot more images of mounds being connected to siouan cultures & more links explaining how the govt tried to fully exterminate the people or assimilate them into society and replace their history with so called "cherokee" history.

There is also a 2nd story connecting some of their bands with the mongolian type people that existed across siberia north china & japan. Ill post those links later.

What about the ancient cities in their empire? The Tartarian ones mentioned time and again on this forum?

Somehow the early ethnographers always missed the elephants in the room. E.g., Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Have a look below. Did the Sioux build it? Or did they know who did? What was their relation to them/it?

Yes, please do. Especially if you have native American references.
I understand how disparate they are and there are only clues in a lot of different sources.

Josiah Priest theorizes that the Golden Horde invaded America around the same time as Europe.
But is not sure if it is their works, or an inheritance. It is a great book at pointing out all the European influences that were already present also.

Tartar was a degrading word used to degrade the inhabitants. Its actually Tatar. When you google Crimea Tatars you see images of indigenous people that look similar to american indians.

Crimean history is where you will find the mysterious history of "tartaria" the flag, the ottoman turk alliance, the reference to the mongol horde, the alliance with catherine the great which is where you see the vast empire of "tartaria" or Tataria is what they were actually called. I think the map showing tartaria from india to north china serbia and america labeled "tartaria" was just an insult to the inhabitants "at that time"

Taken from spanish historical records of settlement. These architectures of wonder in both north and south america were known of by the natives. They must have known what happened to the "Tatars or their forefathers" if the spanish destruction of them made them sad.

I wonder if all them "comet" destructions from 1600s to 1800s had something to do with the weakening of their leaders??

Yes, someone very popular on YT who helped start this whole mud slide, thanks to Russian archives being opened in 2013, went a bit HOG WILD with assumptions, and everybody else was so excited by this new mystery, they jumped on the band wagon.
Replacing one label with another.
She, and a certain other highly popular poster on YT both took over the airwaves with Tartaria, mud floods, flat earth...
They've both contributed a lot with good insight and intuition, but also backed the whole schmiel into a corner many can't figure their way out of.
?
You'd sort of want to be sure about your information, before calling it THE truth.
Maybe better spent investigating the Kievan Rus, Vikings, Normans and the like, who were larger in stature and could more likely accomplish such feats. Especially when they were conscripted by government to enforce submission and obedience on the populace.
All roads DO lead to Rome.
While SOME of that architecture may be beautiful, the bulk of what concerns us, the Greco-Roman or neo-classical is NOT.
Very functionary and imposing, it seems like it is there to reinforce power and prestige over the population. And those old dog piled rat warrens of cities which persisted mostly into WW1 and WW2 don't seem pleasant or healthy living quarters AT ALL.
But then, once in awhile you'll get a more beautiful cathedral or Beaux Arts building, but who knows what those were even used for.
Wonder and awe. Oh, so powerful.
