We are at 140 million years now..

'In what is being hailed as a “major discovery,” paleontologists found a thigh bone of a massive dinosaur this week at an excavation site in southwestern France'

The 140-million-year-old dinosaur bone, measuring 6.5 feet in length and weighing 1,100 pounds, was unearthed at Angeac-Charente, a site that has been yielding fossils since 2010.

The bone was discovered nestled in a thick layer of clay. Other bones from the animal’s pelvis were also unearthed. (Photo Credit: Georges Gobet / AFP / Getty Images)

So this is an actual bone, not a fossil? 140 million years....

'Aside from the size, paleontologists were also especially amazed by the state of preservation of the femur'

'We can see the insertions of muscles and tendons, and scars,” Ronan Allain, paleontologist at the National History Museum of Paris, told Le Parisien newspaper. “This is rare for big pieces which tend to collapse in on themselves and fragment'

So this bone, has just hung around for 140 million years waiting to be discovered? How, does anyone with any common sense arrive at that number?

It appears as though the royal 'they'are ramping up the mainstrem narritive of late.

Thoughts?

Apart from this organic matter allegedly surviving for some ridiculously unreasonable time... does it have to be a dino? Could this bone belong to some huge mammal, or some nephilim type humanoid?

It could very well be any, or KD. However as we know, they don't fit the narrative, but Dinos do ?.

Well, I have zero knowledge in the area, but we do have a bone at hand, so to speak. Can we ID it as anything other than some dino bone?

What happened to the rest of it? I see it says they found other bones from the pelvis. So where is the rest of this megabeast? I fail when it comes to how dinosaur bones work...

140 million years old. How far down in the ground was this? This article sure doesn't make that mention. I bet it was quite more shallow than Rome.

Excellent questions, surely if a bone that size survived, other parts did?

I guess however there will be an equally ridiculous reason given as an explanation...

what specifically makes this a dino femur instead of a human?

Again good question, current human femur appears longer in proportion;

however previous civilizations, different atmosphere, who knows?

I can see at least 3 similar looking bones here.

100% KD. I was momentarily sucked into to the mainstream way of thinking.

Of course, how to deflect anyone from asking what it is or could be, call it a 140 mil year dino bone.
