Maybe the sun, moon and stars were all aligned with the swamp gas reflecting off Venus resulting in just the right amount of preservative goodness. Just add salt!

What’s interesting, the events are most likely based on actual situations with a few variables here and there. It’s just interesting from the date standpoint, and the lack of sources one. I understand the fairytale, and legend portion, but none of those normally talk about exact times.
