It's a poem written in pretty old Italian. I'm OK with modern Italian (and terrible at interpreting poetry), so this is the best I could do.

May you aim at this painting of mine,
Of so many of us in the instrumental acts,
And do various things in your thought,
But do not imagine it as a figure.
He is to bring food to the bill,
That to princes, and great kings in gold, and silver,
Common lines, and to all other people,
Taken away from the acorns, and to their pasture.
Therefore it is well worthy that in metals, and marbles,
Not that paper is printed, and that it is said,
This for human use is given as an example.
So nature to art is a shadow for me,
Which by necessity gave itself to the friendly art,
Far from his old and ungodly costume.

Think about the time machine as well, with another race of beings living underground or elsewhere that designs these machines but cultivates us like cattle for feeding.

Ok this is a way out there theory i have been thinking for quite awhile now and the more i read and the stuff we talk about it in these threads the more it seems that it could be. All the while this movie pops into my head and i havent seen it for 30 years. The film The Time Machine. This makes total sense if you think about it. We all talk about the empty cities and of the millions of people that must of been here and where did they go before the reset. We have no evidence of mass graves or bones for the amount of people it would of taken to fill the empty cities, then all of a sudden we have thousands of young new orphans turn up out of nowhere to then repopulate. This then makes me think are we some sort of hybrids of the ones that were here before us ? Bred underground and nurtured inside of mother earth were it is safe and warm until the time is right to bring us to the surface just like a baby in the mothers womb is nurtured until she is ready to give birth to her baby that will start the next generation. I say hybrids because the evidence is starting to stack up that things were different in our past. In how we humans looked and how we lived. Things like how we were very tall at one stage and then we have this thing before the last reset where we might not of even shit as there were no toilets anywhere like in these grand old building. Im now thinking that between each reset we have a different type of human coming out of the ground or where ever it is. Could it be our things like our appearance,and DNA are changed from reset to reset. Is it like what we do today with changing our food to make it taste better or to be better for us by adding things in or taking somethings out like salt because its not good for us. Will there be a day that the sirens start going off that puts us into a trance that lead us to the cattle yards and then the table.

A side note is that maybe the good sheep will be rounded up and already in the FEMA camps being readied to bring in the new stock/children to show them what to do in there new world and teach them there fake history.

The Da vinci robot reminds me of normal suits of armor, presented to us as Knights from the medieval/dark ages that are absolutely and completely impractical at all for humans to wear. If you actually look at most of them, and REALLY look, a modern day human couldn't fit in most of them at all, especially not if they planned to walk, ride, or fight in them. Combine that with the questions about architecture of castles, reports that most 'Knights' and lords who were known to wear them were ever seen without their armor and/or their helmets .....

Are we being presented with a cover-up for a wide-scale existence of robots that were used all across the world for .. well, look at the missing materials, transportation of said materials, MAN POWER to construct all of these buildings. Did we (humanity) actually have robots working tirelessly? Did we actually come from some sort of utopia-type civilization that the last reset obliterated to the point it became unrecognizable?

Fallout 4, based in Boston, has Diamond City as one of the first bastions of still living civilization 200 years after the nuclear event that destroyed the world. Listen to this character describe Baseball, and how it was played, based on the items they found in the park when they started trying to rebuild.

I've been wondering if AI could have built all the huge tartarian/'greco-romano' style buildings all over the world, due to their gorgeous intricate structure, and completely missing bathroom facilities.

About missing sewage infrastructure, is fascinating. Especially the part about Versailles, having no bathrooms, while having extensive, beautiful, mechanically brilliant fountains. Maybe the AI that came before us were extra big, and built these gorgeous proportional structures. And then we, the first little biorobots, were brought on the scene to see how we'd do, and then they realized they forgot to build waste disposal units for us, because the previous iteration didn't need it.
