Hello Everybody

I realise there are many threads on the topic of Atlantis, and the only reason I am starting a new one, is because I do believe that this is a totally new solution (but please correct me if I am wrong; if this is one that I alone have only just recently found).

On an entirely different message board, an Atlantis researcher, apparently totally independent, appears to have isolated the precise location of the Atlantean capital, as based upon Plato’s ancient description in the Critias.

Using publicly available undersea survey data, he identified an unusual anomaly close to the Azores islands in the Atlantic. A find so impressive to me personally, that I did a deep analysis of it to see if it could be verified. In this regard, I am very satisfied that it is indeed an artificial structure.

I have written a very detailed article about it with many images and tables that I want to share, but let me at least show you here the artefact in question:

My detailed essay on the feature is as follows: The Lost City of Atlantis

I would firstly point out that the diameter of the anomaly is almost exactly 27 Stadia, or about 16000 feet – which is the precise diameter of the capital city of Atlantis, as detailed by Plato. I can also confirm that it has a close mathematical affinity to other ancient megalithic monuments about the globe, such as The Great Pyramid.

I do believe that this find is authentic, and the best solution to the Atlantis mystery I have ever seen.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the alleged underwater pyramid that was spotted in the Azores by a fisherman in 2013! This adds huge evidence to your presentation.

200 Foot Pyramid Found with SONAR

What I find very interesting about this report is that the source is a fisherman, a private citizen using basic equipment, who collected full details such as the base area of the structure and the depth of the top peak (only 40 feet down!)

Contrast this with the next part of the story of how the “Portuguese Navy was sent to investigate”, as though it was totally new information to the world authorities that a large pyramid had been lurking so close to the Azores at such a shallow depth of 40 feet.

So, a regular guy found it by himself with rudimentary equipment, yet it had been missed during each and every official high-tech ocean mapping scan done previously? Incredibly suspicious.

before I became aware of this underwater pyramid, I too had noted that Plato’s location for Atlantis matched up with an odd spot of very shallow water in the middle of the Atlantic (Azores). These two pieces of evidence together make the strongest case by far for this region as the Atlantis location. Additionally, there is some disputed archaeology in the Azores that deserves further investigation- stone wall construction that’s brushed off as “natural”, petroglyphs with unclear ages, and a couple more things along these lines.

I just discovered something interesting—apparently a map showing ancient Atlantis. Unfortunately, there are watermarks on it, but the map come from Jean-Baptiste Bory de Saint-Vincent (1803), but what occurred to me about this map is that the supposed Atlantis continent is actually South America, which may have been closer to Africa in the past. I can tell this because the map labels "areas of Amazonia" on the supposed Atlantis.

Here is another interesting website about the idea that South America is Atlantis -> Atlantis: Geographic Location
