Computer science is related to the simplest logic, in that it is a fractal which can be replicated. In terms of manufacturing, it is used to create mirror parts, like opposite facing doors, or left and right areas of a car for example. In this image of Dome of the Rock, an obvious structure from the previous era. We can see on various patterns on its outer walls. They are all fractal generated, or based on cymatics patterns.

However, one of the exterior plates shows a face in the marble. Interestingly, the entire plate is made up of one plate being replicated, and mirrored subsequently in both the X and Y axis.

In this representation, you can see tile marked A as it is replicated to occupy tiles B, C, and D. In popular image manipulation software, this is called the mirror effect. Being that no one know the age of this structure, it is questionable how old computer science really is.

Regarding the face, there are many theories, it can however look like a dragon, griffon, or other similar concepts with antennas or two horns. .

Why do most of the official explanations sound like I do not want to read them for the second time?

It was initially completed in 691 CE at the order of Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik during the Second Fitna, built on the site of the Roman temple of Jupiter Capitolinus, which had in turn been built on the site of the Second Jewish Temple, destroyed during the Roman Siege of Jerusalem in 70 CE. The original dome collapsed in 1015 and was rebuilt in 1022–23. The Dome of the Rock is in its core one of the oldest extant works of Islamic architecture.

What am I?

I wonder how our historians explain the technique used for replication of this face.

I can't seem to find an article, I read it a few years ago which talks about this process of rearranging molecules in the marble, and it required an immense of energy without being mechanically invasive.

There are quite a few "petroglyphs" that indicate beings with antennae, or horns.

Simple mirroring and arraying photo filters can be used to reveal hidden shapes based on two of the mosque images above shown in the image below. I chose this image out of many possible since it represents to me the fundamental tendency of Islam to expansion, conquest and subterfuge. Actually, I thought the image having been produced from two mosque images was just neat and menacing then later conjured up some more interpretations. These filters are used a lot in an attempt to show that people like Leonardo da Vinci might be using symmetry and cropping to hide things in their art.

My guess is Islam may have been using symmetry and cropping to reveal what they might have thought were hidden messages from God or even using it for divination.

If asked, I would say that's one block of marble cut into slices. The challenge would be finding/cutting such a block where the occlusion ran perfectly straight through your block's axis. Each slice now has the same pattern of occlusion. Flip 'em to suit.
