I will do the math on the weekend. Thats a great puzzle.I shall write again, even if I wrote on other threads also: if you believe the Earth is a sphere, take a paper and a pencil, go to your prefered search engine, type WGS84 (it is the latest, but you can use any other) and write down the ecuatorial radius and excentricity. Calculate the polar radius or look up wikipedia. Then look for a formula which gives you the earth radius by latitude. Calculate r1 the Earth radius at the Lake Itasca latitude, then calculate r2 the Earth radius at the Pilottown latitude: you will find r2 is bigger with more than six thousands meters than r1! Then think! After thinking come here and write your explanation of Mississippi waters going uphills almost three quarters of Everest in order to flow into the Gulf of Mexico.
I have put the same question on other forums and the first answer received was gravitation. I told them thay are wrong because gravitation is directed to the center of the elipsoid and not to the Gulf of Mexico! Then came an other one who said centrifugal force of Earth rotation. I explained them that a force is the mass multiplied by acceleration and, if they introduce a force, they introduce an acceleration also. Which means that Mississippi waters would have to have tremendous speed at the Pilottown, but the contrary is true! Then they banned me!
I am waiting an explanation from the stolenhistory readers who believe the Earth is almost a sphere. Thanks!
By the way, I did a summer cosmology course where we went to a big telescope which no-one was allowed to watch it being configured between different views. That set me on a big quest for answers. I don't know what to believe but I do know that the helio centric model is crap.
