I've seen it. I couldn't work up any sympathy for the main characters because they decided to play god and create a new species they thought they could control.

I've seen splice a bunch.
Honestly I think it's one of the funniest movies I've seen. Only because of one single moment, but it's worth the whole movie to me.
Beyond this one, super hilarious and uncomfortable moment, I thought it was pretty decent. Totally ludicrous science and plot.
But if you have nothing better to do, it's worth a watch. If only for a very uncomfortable relationship moment for Adrian Brody. Lol

Yeah, it starts mediocre and just gets worse. Adrian caught balls deep in a science monster is hilarious though.
