Rachel Balhah of Jewish Myth on Ortelius map?

Anyone know what the context behind this inscription on an old Ortelius map of Tartary is? I know this entire portion of the map is talking about Tartarian Jewry but it speaks as if the founding mothers of the Jews were recent historic figures.

It is Ortelius 1570 map if I remember correctly.

I am not sure what you mean by being a recent people. Is it this part?

"that Nephtalites, a very numerous and considerable People in the furthest parts of the East, by some called the Euthalites, were supposed to have come from this Tribe; again, that it might be very properly compared to a Flowering Tree, because of the singular Fertility of the Land that was allotted it."

The map speaks as if whatever happened with Rachel, Balhah and Denmark was not so ancient. Past 1000 years or so, I would assume.
