Tough to pick just one Talking Heads song to sit back and analyze on this forum, but I think this is the most relevant one. Born Under Punches from Remain in Light is a strange song really and Byrne starts the song with a scream. Some of the lyrics that really stand out to me are the first few: " Take a look at these hands, take a look at these hands, the hand speaks, the hands of a government man." Byrne tells us in a few songs that he's a "government man." Next it would seem he's trying to warn us of an impending doom or a reset: "Don't you miss it, don't you miss it. Some 'a you people just about missed it! Last time to make plans!
Well I'm a tumbler...I'm a Government Man.Never seen anything like that before. Falling bodies tumble 'cross the floor. Well I'm a tumbler!"

Ok so wtf is he trying to say by he's a tumbler. Is he mocking the dead here? "Falling bodies tumble "cross the floor. Well I'm a tumbler" The next verse that really catches my attention is when he tells us that" I'm not a drowning man! And I'm not a burning building! (I'm a tumbler!) Drowning cannot hurt a man!
Fire cannot hurt a man. (Not the Government Man.)" So here we have it, he's working on the inside of a reset and so he can't be hurt by a flood or fire. The song ends with the heat goes on and on and on and on quite a few times.

I could do at least three more Talking Heads songs that are relevant to this forum, but I want to keep it short for now. The other songs I would like to do are : "Warning Sign, Memories Can't Wait and Burning Down the House."I may add them to this thread in the next few days.

Nice. It's mesmerizing. Tweaky solo in the middle was crazy. Felt entranced.
Thanks for sharing.

Talking heads have so many songs that are predictive of what I see the world has become. like Life During War time. I don"t know if they were in the know but how could it be just random artistic choice to write so many songs about leading a double life.? At the time of their heyday I didn't understand what the hell these things could be alluding to... no mystery now if you follow people like this guy. Johnny Cirucci who blows the lid off who is posing as who in every institution in politics science education military sports business < warning hard to listen to so much corruption I don't know how he does it.
Point being he has this double triple quadruple identity among elites and their servants down like no other. Once you see it you cant unsee it .Maybe that's what happened to Byrne.
On a lighter note a long time ago I lived in this humongous apartment complex in Phoenix every building looked like every other building and it wasn't uncommon to walk into the wrong apartment. One day me and my girlfriends were hanging out in my apartment and suddenly this guy was standing there looking very confused and I shit you not ,without missing a beat we all looked at each and said "This is not my beautiful house ! This is not my beautiful wife! ? ?

Yes and yes, so many musical artists are simply just figureheads for the CIA/Phoenicians/Illuminati whatever you want to call it. Many of their songs are predictive and not just that but in the know, like they've been here all along, at least the one's like David Byrne. I have to add a few verses from Once in a Lifetime because that song is a perfect example to what we're discussing here.

From: Once in a Lifetime
And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground
Into the blue again after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Water dissolving and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Under the water, carry the water
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!
Water dissolving and water removing

Its not just the mainstream bands either. Lots lots of indie bands are part of this game too.

Henry Thomas quotes it appropriately in Curse of the Starving Class. Good movie if you can find it...
Same as it ever was, same as it ever was...

And right on cue, the Talking Heads will announce a reunion tour to re-hash it all.

Wow, really, a part of me would pay a lot to see them but the other part of me won't let me pay for further programing. Hmmm

But that's all any of it is? Idn't?
School, etc, might be nothing more than drilling and hammering in belief in this supposedly fixed reality.
"This is how this works...", "this is how this goes..."
Curtailing FREEDOM. So, as long as you're aware of what's influencing you, etc, there's nothing to fear.
If it doesn't FEEL good, or it causes you stress or imbalance... Do what you need to do.
I mainly don't like or feel safe in crowds, but I love music and dancing, so I TRY to stay open to having a good experience.

Yay, I agree with you, and also can't stand to be in crowds for very long anymore, but I'd do it for a band that I really enjoy and connect with, theres nothing better than being outside, in nice weather and listening to your favorite bands live. It'd be neat to see all the different generations of fans that they have together and enjoying themselves. Plus, its not like I'm going to see Jay Z or Madonna or something.

As far as "art" forms, music is more enduring because it has a more subjective nature than the "visual arts". Especially, if you like to dance.
?
FOOTLOOSE all over again...
Or Blues Brothers. Love that movie. James Brown church scene... Dancin in the streets... Shakin tail feathers...

Yep, it's all programming, but if one's listening with that awareness - I think you're inoculated!

Doing analysis of the songs is important; however, understanding or innerstanding that the REAL purpose of the entire mainstream and some counterculture (they control both sides) music industry is to destroy the family and human connection via social engineering, to destroy moral precepts which have worked for millenia and destabilize society so a "new world order" can come about, engineered of course.
Dave McGowen covers much of this regarding Laurel Canyon

Where is the hidden history contribution to posting some lyrics, and using confirmation bias to interperate them? Please stop degrading the forum with these useless threads...

To be honest, this is kind of light/fun stuff. But I tend to think entertainment (e.g. music) is one of the primary modes of mind control in use, along with education (e.g. history). It's worth looking at too, to help understanding. I mean, where else to you get people vocalising, mantra-like, a bunch of ideas that may not be in their interests? If people aren't paying conscious attention, how are they programming themselves?

I've got to throw in Memories Can't Wait, listening to the live version on repeat right now. This song is describing someone who is here, in this plane indefinitely. Not only, that, he remembers everything, everything that's happened here and he's watching people come and go and come and go, and he seems envious of this. He's being kept wide awake, literally and metaphorically, on these memories. The opening line sounds like he's a freaking mythological god in angst, trying to shake awake a mere human.

Memories (Can't Wait)
[Verse 1]
Do you remember anyone here?
No you don't remember anything at all
I'm sleeping, I'm flat on my back
Never woke up, had no regrets

[Hook]
There's a party in my mind
And I hope it never stops
There's a party up there all the time
And they'll party till they drop

[Chorus]
Other people can go home
Everybody else can split
I'll be here all the time
I can never quit

[Verse 2]
Take a walk through the land of shadows
Take a walk through the peaceful meadows
Don't look so disappointed
It isn't what you hoped for, is it?

[Hook]
There's a party in my mind
And I hope it never stops
I'm stuck here in this seat
I might not stand up

Other people can go home!
Other people, they will split!
I'll be here all the time!
I can never quit

[Outro]
Everything is very quiet
Everyone has gone to sleep
I'm wide awake on memories
These memories can't wait
These memories can't wait
These memories can't wait
These memories can't wait, ooh!

(Can't wait)
(Can't wait)
(Can't wait)
These memories can't wait (can't wait)

This is what I would expect a controller/resetter with a heart and some self reflection to feel like. David Byrne looking at you? His voice is much different in the live version of this song. Let me know if anyone else has similar thoughts about this or maybe I just have an active imagination and teaching virtual school is really easy.

I do agree with you. Couple of years ago I didn't understand song lyrics like I do now, with more understanding about resets and the elite.
