@igneous

"The Tongue Tower, at the Temple of Nabu"

That's Borsippa, right?

This has some nice footage.

Ancient Iraq: Borsippa - World Monuments Fund - Google Arts & Culture

[bah my new posted merged into this because im still last. can you add later parts to new posts?]

Re Part 2..

Ding ding ding @igneous

If the puzzle pieces do fit in the sort of ways you suggest, that'd be pretty intense, huh? :D

A functional "technology" (of unknown basis of knowledge or purpose) might explain the apparent relationships and exactitude in the placements / dimensions of sites / components.

I think the Bucegi Mountains are another such place. Perhaps even Por-Bajin, the thread I posted a few days ago.

It is real and I have a bunch of links:
In pics: Maiji Mountain Grottoes in Tianshui, China's Gansu - Xinhua | English.news.cn
Maijishan Grottoes & Famen Temple - China Culture Center
CINA: LE GROTTE DI MAIJISHAN
Maijishan Grottoes - Wikipedia

Edit: I looked and looked and looked to find more pictures of the interior but I did not find much.

Thanks. Very cool but I thought it was Iran. China is a whole other mystery.

The only cave complex I know of that comes even remotely close in appearance is Meymand:

Iran has some crazy crazy caves. There could be a whole thread on Iran's crazy caves. For example:

Namakdan:

Dragon Temple:

Its not worth posting but its looking at the old medieval maps. Ebstorfer seems to say babel is east iraq, whereas hereford map suggests west iran.
