What is that just below his nose?
Open Mouth? Impact or injury?
Maybe its a gas mask?
His whole face looks eerie as hell.

If that is his head, I guess he’s lucky to still have it attached. Several near him appear beheaded. If not a gas mask, he appears to have been frightened to death. Horrific look on his face. Wonder what he saw? Probably whatever tore the heads off the other guys.

Maybe it is just perspective, but those skulls seem too large, and the jaw is rather big.
And no one stole this boot.
