What are people's interpretation of the World Health Organisation emblem? The deeper symbology, origins, meaning, and how it relates to this current day... i.e., what is it really telling us?

It looks like United Nations emblem variation

1. Flat Earth Map
2. Laurel is connected with Rome to me

(SPQR)

With added cadeceus - a symbol of "medicine", that's the way they learned me about that symbol. I think there is a nice research about that in one of many topic here.
