What's your take on Netflix's new series: Graham Hancock's Ancient Apocalypse?

Check out this thread on reddit, congruent with this discussion, and containing a lot of healthy skepticism:

The biggest giveaway about this show (just finished watching it in full yesterday) is he uses the "ancient apocalypse" to promote the idea of an imminent *new* apocalypse. I'm ready to concede the Earth may have indeed been rebooted a few times in the past, and that it might indeed happen again in the future. However the probability that such a reboot does indeed happen in our lifetime is infinitesimally small, and that's what I don't buy; especially since the central planners are trying to convince me so hard of it.

Indeed that is part of the eschatological script currently being played out by central planners, i.e. trying to convince as many people as possible that we are in the "end times". Of course they call by different names depending on the identity they target: climate change, great awakening, great reset, new world order, new age, age of aquarius, tribulation/rapture, technological singularity, UFO disclosure, age of Mahdi, Aeon of Horus, etc.

It all boils down to Kabbalistic eschatology. All these savior figures involved actually correspond to their pet moschiach, which they might very well end-up conjuring/faking. It therefore makes perfect sense this would be on Netflix, and promoted by the MSM under the guise of criticizing it.

My educated guess is we'll witness the largest financial/economic meltdown in the history of money, and that the central planners will try to rely on this to "fulfill" their obscurantist and genocidal eschatological prophecy/promise, and that they will fail miserably precisely because they are utter barbarians with no taste or culture to speak of, suffocating on superstitions.
Hi Alfy, yes i am saddened by having to agree with your 'take' on Hancock's Netflix series. The 'seed-planting' of globalism, climate change, salvation etc is ubiquitous. My view is that this is the setting up or 'exposing' of the other side of the dialectic just as they are playing out the 'Great Reveal' with the scamdemic. Whether or not Hancock's work is authentic, i do feel that the more important issue is that as a 'trusted voice' he is being used, either willingly or unknowingly, to prepare the dialectic narrative. I look forward to your comments and further thoughts. Goddo

Almost everytime somebody speaks (and is wearing glasses) on the show, their lenses are reflecting UV light, no matter the weather or their angle in relation to the sun. It's pretty much constant. *Oh! lord commander! (*Final space reference).

Some of you guys type like feds. Lots of deceiving and whatabousim going on in this dumpster fire of a thread. Randal Carlson may be a mason, but Hancock was talking about lost civilizations and taking acid and dmt trips before most of you were out of diapers. He may not be radical enough for the likes of you who literally foam at the mouth and worship Mudflooded Tartaria, but he’s doing real, hard, credible work to move the needle; under the correct understanding that it’s about changing the argument one point and one inch at a time. Dude’s made a career and suffered losses going up against academia.

I have not watched this show yet but I think your line of thought that "he uses the "ancient apocalypse" to promote the idea of an imminent *new* apocalypse." That is his role IMHO. The controllers of this realm think of themselves as gods and what better way than to mirror "ancient" holy texts like the bible and others by causing massive floods and devastating volcanic eruptions and/or asteroid strikes. There is massive predictive programming suggesting soon that a large volcanic eruption in the largest volcano in the world is going to erupt massively and destroy Hawaii and send tsunamis to the west coast of California and devastate it. Another event will cause a collapse of De Palma in the Canary Islands or an asteroid strike and send a tsunami to the east coast of the USA flooding NYC at the very least. Two themtoob channels that discuss this "Reset" are IsraelDiegoRivera Genius2 and art fa. Here is a couple of video's to get a flavor of what they have found.

art fa has made some timing predictions that have been wrong but his approach while different from the above themtoober has stellar coordinates that are indicative of a disaster(s) described above.

You guys support and use the WISEUP channel as a resource. It seems as though no one here even goes on that site and you really all think that you know exactly what has happened in the past. Gobekli Tepe is just one site that is obviously a spot of a past cataclysm, and it is not the only spot of course. If you open your eyes you would see the bigger picture, not to mention the numerous sites that are similar and near to Gobekli Tepe and all around the world. Turkey has so many "ancient" sites that should be excavated that are not(like many other sites around the world , or they are taken over by the shit bags and covered and "excavated" on their terms.

Western television is so bad and saturated with MK Ultra shit I can't even tell you, and you folks being from a country that is not the US, I feel you have no idea of how bad the situation really is. And, if you don't think you have been touched by this MK ultra crap, you have been highly mistaken. People from other countries other than the US have been nothing but an experiment and have been controlled by the controllers. We are all pet projects and have been for some time now.

Also on this channel I see many people getting their information from the internet. Wow, and you think that your getting the real source. Every time I see some one post a site as a link to real information I think, "They really believe that they are finding out truths", well wake up because you have just been duped.

I have tried to stay away from this and did not want to write such things, but I felt I have been left with no choice.
Can you recommend some good resources?

I tried reading one of his books. Wouldn't hold my attention. Since he seems to be off the wall to a certain extent, maybe I ought to try and contact him. I haven't heard anything about chimeras lately. He might know if they're being birthed on Dr. Moreau's forbidden island or, more likely, in the White House Basement.

Gobeki Tepi stones? Yes. Authentically fake. Too, too perfect looking.

I recently emailed Graham Hancock regarding his book fingerprints of the gods. via an interview on London real he stated he wished to hear more theories and competing narratives in regards to working out what's happened in the recent past. I emailed him via his website and offered him my viewpoint with some supportive examples and indicated ways in which his current work was misrepresentational of what was really occurring. that was last month, and i have yet to receive a formal or informal reply from him or his postmaster. my gut tells me i wont receive a response. my gut also tells me he is allowed a box to stand on and shout his truth from, because his work ultimately pushes a greater misdirection than his smaller truths enable by. His research is brilliant up there with the finest, his detail in regards to structural dimensions, material composition and orientations are a god send to people like me who don't have the financial resources to go and survey these sites. my largest critique of his work is that instead of reaching a climax in regards to this observational evidence and then leaving others to determine what that means (which would promote a diverse and varied range of considerations.) He pushes you down a narrative of space and space objects, processional astronomy and obliquity. In my opinion he never offers the alternative viewpoint to those considerations and by doing so stifles his own work. there are elements in his books that do not fit with these considerations. yet instead of admitting that and producing many competing theories he jumps to a single theory that tectonic plates move and poles shift. this as a theory when balanced with others is worth consideration. but when it is the only viewpoint being proposed it narrows perspective and ultimately doesn't really account for the findings his work is making. in isolation this is fine, but for the work of an investigative journalist i find that happens far to often.

For those interested, my take away from his work is that it does represent indicators of a cataclysmic event which likely occurred in the time period he suggests. further i think the details he presents in the structures of his work indicates a level of precision and skill that the main stream does not afford ancient peoples to possess. I think orientation of structure is important but not for astronomical reasons. I think shifting plate tectonics cannot accurately explain why areas of this place we dwell are currently frozen over but yet have evidence of more temperate climates beneath those ice layers. I personally consider solar absence to be a significant factor. such absence producing the affect of an event like the younger dryas. an affect which once solar presence was in effect again would see the products of solar absence melted and that melting would thus cause the flooding events such as melt water pulse a/b indicates (this unaccounted for by shifting plate theory and even the impact hypothesis). Solar absence would require high levels of construction skill to be in effect when building in preparation for such periods, this because solar absence would create solid sky conditioning and structures unsuitable for that conditioning would be destroyed. Solid nitrogen and oxygen in large volumes such as this would exert devastating force upon any surface area construction that didn't make use of precise geometric shapes, patterns and pressure displacement techniques. i think solar absence creates the conditions that encase trees and plant life in frozen layers of ice, we call its lesser effect winter, it does roughly the same thing on a smaller and less intense scale. no plates are required to move for it to happen, only the sun and its warming effects. Solar absence makes orientation of structure equally as important as its architectural design. This solid sky conditioning moving into and out of an area eastwardly to westwardly of a curving manner, would require structural orientation to be receptive to that direction and the conditioning force it presented with upon solar absence via the west. A poorly orientated structure would experience stress from such an effect, stress that a structure orientated to meet it head on and evenly would not.

Each condition explainable by solar absence and yet solar absence cannot occur under heliocentric conditioning. the sun being the big daddy of the solar system it cannot be the thing that hides and seeks. given its necessity to provide us at all times with life affirming attribution, partial solar absence or even solar obfuscation are not satisfactory in answering for the considerations and phenomena presented these options just cant create the effects as seen or the necessary conditions for them. so what do we take from all this. either one or the other is wrong. either we live within the heliocentric model and these conditions don't occur because they cannot occur within such a system. or this system is a lie and these things are all in effect and are all visually evidenced in the natural world. The answer to that i guess depends on your perspective.

All I can say is read all that you can anywhere you can and use your intuition. Also I would like to point out that I think the main objective of the search for the "truth" is to get to a truth. The number one thing that I see, is that no one really knows anything. It is all conjecture. It is all our own illusions, are own version of the "truth". That I believe is the part where people go wrong. Our stories are just that, stories, and putting the puzzle pieces together of this "history" of our earth and the inhabitants of it, to me, will never match up perfectly, and neither will the "story" from just one person. It is almost like putting a collage together. And anyone who is even thinking about these very deep thoughts should be commended. I try to discuss some of these subjects with others (in the "real" world, not here of course) and they don't even think about this kind of stuff.

I wish you well in all your searching for the "truth"!!

This is really profound, thank you for saying this.
I think its sensible to consume everything you can, even that which doesn't sit with your personal truth. not blindly submitting to it because it knows something you do not, but asking questions of it as you digest and consume whatever method of learning your drawing from. Be it a book, an article, a video lecture etc.
I personally don't believe in space, its a fantasy to me and Nature renders it absurd as a concept. but, I read research papers by people such as Mark Carlotto who supposedly mapped landmasses on mars.
I sift through his writings for that trace of truth that hides inside his concept of what this all is. In the process, pulling it out offering it up for inspection and laying it beside my own understandings and concepts looking for proportionality. If found I include it, if not I discount it.
The collage you speak of is just that not a puzzle because a puzzle is a defined picture in pieces. What we are looking at is a collage a full picture represented by pieces left in places varied and incompatible as a whole. this is what freemasons are taught to do in lodges. they are taught to interpret symbols. then put those symbols and their teachings together to form a viewpoint of the whole. to see the entire collage.

Nature is our greatest ally in the search for truth. science can indicate truth but be based on lies, religion can do the opposite and understandings and determinations can change as quickly as winds. But one thing that never changes is Nature and its presentation to us. It is the oldest book available to us.
it knows everything that has ever happened because it has experienced all things.
what knowledge does it possess?
what information does it tell you?
cheers.

As time goes, he's more and more been mentioned on other podcasts and slowly, but surelly, is approaching to be the new face of the mainstream. On one of his latest interviews, it's clear his push on this so called "climate disaster"

I almost didn't react to these posts because you can tell that neither of you guys have read any of his books. His information is from many different sources, he has compiled this much and then came to his own conclusion. That is what we do here and for that matter I can tell you that you have heard or read wrong when you keep mentioning this cataclysmic weather or climate disaster. If you read the books you will find it has to do with the Younger Dryas event, not slow climate change.

Graham Hancock is just putting ideas out there that seem to speak more to a sord of truth than any archaeologist would ever come to. Everybody does stuff so they can feed themselves, I just wish that what they did was more along what Graham Hancock is doing instead of working at some useless job that goes no where and means nothing like the rest of the human clumps that I see.

Maybe he has to use Netflix, because most people don't read books anymore, they just drone out on the computer or television and let other people think for them. I will say that I might not agree with everything that Graham Hancock says, but I do like where he has been headed because it is a possibility.

If you have trouble determining whether Graham Hancock is controlled opposition or not, then conspiracy theories is not for you and you're better off finding another hobby.

Sorry bro, thats stinkin-thinkin, maybe youve spent too much time paying attn to the wrong sources. The number 1 thing I see are all the controlled op outlets that dumb themselves down like its so hard to figure out. Repetition is a major pillar of effective propaganda so all the times you heard jon levi say how impossible it is to reach the end should tell you he's either, A. too fuckin stupid to be taken seriously, or B. He's lying.. The answer is C all of the above.
A unified conspiracy theory is the wholey grail of research, at great risk of sounding like a cli'che or ego-maniac Ive spent the last decade working on just that. I got some loose ends to tie up but its really just a matter of dropping conditioned responses, such as self-doubt. If I told you the Civil War never happened most people would laugh without even looking at the evidence, or use a past personal experience to limit themselves. I found some musketballs with a metal detector when I was a kid and that held me up for a long time till i finally acknowledged the amount of evidence on one side outweighed my past experience so there must be an explanation. Its more like changing the process of thought. Its so predictable. World culture is extremely young. The ancient sites are fake, go look at the original excavation documents and do background checks on the ppl involved. More than likely its the Louvre or British Museum which deal exclusively in fakes.
The shills like Hancock all push that the sites are much older for a reason, you can argue any age you want, the older the better, bc thats the opposite way you should be going. The sites are modern frauds. Some are legitimately old, such as the pyramids themselves but all the glyphs are recent... recent being a relative term.

See bro, thats what Im talking about. I was locked up for few years so I had the chance to read all of his books, not that it matters anyway bc heres the part you dont seem to get, if he was telling any truth he wouldn't have a netflix show, thats a main rule, they only promote their own. If the best you got is younger dryas then its time to move on. Y.D. is the illusion of difference but its not. Its still a natural event, only instant instead of gradual, or if you want to go with the comet you are supporting fake NASA space, any outlet that has a netflix channel and a NYTimes bestseller is a shill. period. Mudflood is a loaded term but I use it bc its most popular, this has nothing to do with asteroid impacts except they are used as a cover story. The Ice Age never happened, just like the Medieval period and the Colonial era, there was a Resetting Event but it was artificially introduced and graham Hancock steers you as far away from that as possible.

Jason from Achaix gives a good explanation of why Hancock is wrong, well worth a watch. This guy is my favourite historian now - The main point here is that the Egyptians used to count months as years, so when they told Solon that Atlantis was 9000 years earlier in 600BC this is actually 9000 months, or 750 years, placing the event around 1350BC - much more recent that Hancock suggests.

That's still too long, like the mainstream is around 4500 years, so this calculation becomes around +-3400. Again, close to the mainstream but less bs than hancock
Btw, i watched the video, just don't agree with the conclusion

I never said that Graham Hancock was the all of all. Another thing I would like to say, is Jon Levi got brought in to this and I don't know why, but I find his videos fun. You can think what you want and so will I and never the two will meet. I think your response is just as predictable as the Netflix series.
Your response is lame and predictable, just like the Netflix series. I never liked movie representations of books because they leave out so much information that is important. I don't believe that you have read any of his books and if you have you should read it again. Even in poor, or biased journalism there is always some truth, you just have to be able to see it. And by the way, have you done extensive research on this subject, notes, anything? I think not. Because if you had you wouldn't be on this forum.

I don't know where Jon Levi got involved in this conversation, but if you have a problem with him tell him not me.
Thanks and be well!

I've read Fingerprints of the Gods. The issue I have with Graham is he accepts the mainstream historical narrative as true. Based on the 'evidence' I've read/seen regarding Egypt, I find it ridiculous that the well known Egyptologists are French and English. If I were an Egyptian, do you really expect me to believe some foreigner(s) telling me the history of my own lands? NO.

Prime Example - Jean Francois Champollion

Oh I don't know. The history of the Russians was actually written by Germans!
