I thought this was an interesting curiosity from 1862, Thompson’s Revolver Camera. Someone recently posted about it on Reddit, and I thought you all would find it interesting. More detail about it here on Youtube.

(I didn't find a post via search on this forum about this Revolver Camera, so I hope mine isn't a duplicate.)

Of course I had to double check. It looks so Steam-Punk. Very ingenious, but dangerously stupid. Hold still while I shoot a photo of you..Opps! wrong gun. Well atleast I can see potential for wrong-doing.

For a while, I thought they had a rifle with telescope back then :) But this is interesting finding too. The fellow from the movie used "ingenious design" and that they can trace the story about this camera back to 1860', even though they know nothing about producer logo inscribed on the camera. Of course. Official history won't let different. This item could be much older as well and be an example of a hand camera to make quick pictures as people used to have before the reset. This is another clue that the history of photography could be much older than official.
