Regarding baby incubators, while looking into other expos:

Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (1909): Baby Incubator Exhibit and Cafe

It would be interesting to create a spreadsheet of what exhibits were at what expos. There is GREAT overlap. I got to this piece of information trying to discern which expos after 1893 had Ferris wheels.

I live in Omaha and l remember in skool they talked about this expo (briefly) and the history teacher reiterated or rather regurgitated that these were made of temporary materials and were white washed. I didn't think much of it considering i would of been like 8 years old. Now knowing what l know about other grand expos i have know doubt that these were the real deal from eons ago. Interestingly, like 15 years ago a local news station had a story about how there is a bunch old structures under the Old Market (downtown hot spot with old buildings). I've been looking but haven't been able to find it unfortunately.
