I like the fact how these Autopeds are driven mostly by women, signaling female independence early on?

I've seen that Slovakia artifact before lol. What if all technology we've ever know is just a repeat of the past? As if we're stuck in a time loop, but with different plots and characters? Cyclical history to be exact. Though that sounds kind of terrifying in that we may be stuck in this constant loop.

EDIT: Some few grammar changes.

According to this blog author it's a cable car.
Charles Harvey making a test run along the Greenwich Street portion of his cable-driven West Side and Yonkers Patented Railway. December 1867 at the corner of Morris Street and 39 Greenwich Street.
In 1867, Charles T. Harvey (1829-1912), a self-trained civil engineer who had built the Soo Canal uniting Lake Superior and Lake Huron, built an experimental single-track cable-powered elevated railway from the south end of Manhattan Island, northward up to Cortlandt Street.

No one has ever given me an adequate explanation for why we use oil over electricity.

Or that I saw an old video of SF, CA on YT that showed electric cars ripping around... Narrator even said as much. One of those fairs... Probably the later one.
Stella?... STELLA?!...

Money! More money! And more....

In 1912 Henry Ford & Edison came together to conceive a low-priced electric car

Step by step we are waking up!

Once i believe, when it will be no money in the world, we will get real INDEPENDENCE in all our ways of living!

I would say money + power. The two are inextricably linked in any case. Who controls the world's energy supply (it was an oligopoly for much of the 20th century - see The Seven Sisters), has all the power and money. This oligopolistic control over world's energy supply, thankfully, has been changing and the process is speeding up rapidly, particularly when coupled with the global awakening.

I will refer you to Corbett Report's thorough Documentary: How Big Oil Conquered the World [Runtime: 1:11:27](2015).

The oiligarcs sought energy supremacy early on.

I was taught in a College Civilization class that there were less than 120 miles of paved roads in all of the US in 1911. I think you’ve thoroughly crushed that professor numerous times on his facts so far.
