...The point about shortage of skilled labour is an interesting one, but I suspect it may be hard to find too many anecdotes as we, part of the so-called first world, are not likely to experience it directly since we bring lots of skilled workers in from other countries...
Inflows are probably going to drop precipitously and many will probably go back thanks to many factors, one of which is U.S. hostage-taking.

...I'm certain that there is no will to reverse the population reduction policies. This all seems very deliberate...
...Precisely. The stratospheric population number is all misdirection. It feeds into the broader narrative of overpopulation, limited resources, shortage of food and water, humans as a cancer on a dying earth, climate change, the need for birth control, vaccinations, and so on and so forth....
Most global policy directives hinge on the idea of a rampant population explosion that threatens the existence of humanity. It's all a sham.
I disagree that it isn't nefarious. They may not be drinking the blood of newborn children, but this, among many other things they purport, is a blatant lie sold to us as the gospel - a lie that underpins so much decision making in the world today. We are indoctrinated to believe in scarcity of all kind when there is nothing but abundance all around us. What they are doing is the definition of criminality.
Mass of the universe (supposedly): 4.5 x 10^51 kg
I'll guesstimate weight of average person or ET at 60 kg
Start with two people: Adam and Eve
Increase 2% compounded annually for 5765 years
=(2*((1.02)^5765))*60
Total mass of humans: about 4.56 X 10^51 kg, oops, Houston we have a problem
Other than the above equation, and the fact that in the U.S. we clearly have a "federal" government, half the state governments, NGOs, and a large swath of the population that is against even contraception let alone supposedly sees abortion as murder (okay, the last item on the list by and large does see it as murder), I do not know what to believe. There definitely are major forces at work that does not see overpopulation as a problem, especially in the world's bully that does not actually produce much of anything and actually really is a gas station masquerading as a county, and no it is not a country near the Arctic Circle either, but rather will reduce "oil" production dramatically since its tight oil boom is one of the greatest shams in history AFAWK. Indeed they sow chaos and want as many unwanted pregnancies as possible. On the other hand, they kill millions the world over with depleted uranium, white phosphorus (or whatever new and improved version they use now), drones, sanctions, etc.
Indeed, I hear abortion is illegal in most of Latin America and contraceptives are often hard to obtain.
When I was 11-12 years old in 1979 and in sixth grade, had I wrote a story about the early 21st Century, I could not have made this non-fiction? of 1990-2019 that is stranger than fiction (and does not even make any sense or have any consistency) up.
It is difficult enough to tell what is going on in A.D. 2019, let alone 2019 B.C. My standard answer to anything on the Tell-A-Lie-To-Your-Vision Idiot Box is, when did they stop lying? Here is another question we keep asking on this forum: When did they start?
