Was listening to the most recent Jimmy's video. The contents are pretty interesting, and you can find that video just below. The description for the video is as follows:

KD: I'm using this video as an example, for just about every 45 seconds we can hear 12,000 years ago (9,000 years ago and so on). These thousands of years of history. What is the basis for us operating with such numbers? I am not saying that our Earth does not have 50,000 years under its belt, or a mil/bil for that matter.

What material sources, or proof do we have to insist that something specific took place that long ago?

• Obviously we could say that Mr. Plato placed Atlantis "more than 9,000 years before his time". Our contemporary historians place the Big Bang at 4.6 bil years ago (My Mandella it is. Now it is 13.8 bil). It does not mean that it actually took place, or that it did not happen 1.3 bil years ago.
• Carbon dating does not appear to be reliable.
• No original text sources appear to exist. We only have copies of the copies.
• Mud flood, and related terra forming rule out dating based on sediment levels.

So, what gives us this opportunities to say that some asteroid hit Earth 12,000 years ago? Where do we get this information about what happened thousands of years ago?

I've actually been thinking about this recently, and I suspect you might be on the same wavelength, KD.

As per the video, money and tribalistic thinking are definitely a factor in the issue, but it's been shown that TPTB can and will shape a new narrative at the drop of a dime if they want to. So why have they really been shunning the idea of a series of major global cataclysms 12,000 years ago?

Could it be because it wasn't 12,000 years ago?

Could it be because it was actually hundreds of years ago?

If you dont push the sunken cities back to 10,000 BC, you dont have the source of water.
