NONE!
That is the problem with this photo investigation as interesting as it is. Neither is there any way to know what is really going on in any photograph or more often than not the location of the goings on.

I doubt they invented artificial marble for sh*ts and giggles. It clearly provided benefits to justify building factories. That was over 100 years prior to the construction of the said building.

Am i missing something? There was a "City Hall Building" in DC when this " early photograph" was taken in 1863 that in drawings looks eerily similar to the US Capitol building. The description here says you can see "building materials" for the USC in the front and CHB in top right? WTF? Anyhow, who tha fuk REALLY BELIEVES we made all this using horse and buggy? How tha fukking fuk did we build The "Washington" Monument when all they apparently had to work with were horses, buggys, and sticks? Everything we see in this "early photograph" is made of wood, is in absolute ruins, and looks nothing like what is portrayed to us in these supposed 1857 and earlier "drawings" by E. Saches & Co. or WTFE they had "drawing" our history for us pre- or post "Civil War". i think it safe to say we have been lied to by The Victors since day one and our Citizens have been so properly brainwashed and programmed thru media, television, and "education" and dumbed-down and stupified thru poisoned food, water, alcohol, and pharmaceuticals as to question nothing and believe in everything they are presented with except God Himself, that we will likely not get to the bottom of any of this. We will all likely be guilloutined or "re-educated" for questioning it whenever the proverbial SHTF and perhaps should hereafter focus our energy and efforts on preparing ourselves and our children for survival after the re-set button gets pressed. There is nothing that interests me more than the topics and discussions had on this site, and the level of intellect from the site administrator and members is astonishing and makes me feel like i have peers in the World in a way i do not feel otherwise. i took a break from here after i began cancer treatment (which was horrendous and i am worse off now than when diagnosed BTW) and i missed you all a lot. There is nothing more important than thinking for oneself, exercising our right to speak freely while we still can, attempting to share the truth we are able to see and the knowledge we have gained from seeking it with those we love and care about. But please my friends, DO NOT EVER underestimate the importance of or neglect the care of your body, mind, and spirit/soul. They have bombarded us with people, places, and things to make sure we do not.

Not had time to read back through the whole thread so apologies if this has been posted or mentioned before.

Just came across this on a facebook page, suposedly from 1860. One poster claims there was a smaller dome, but tptb did not like it, so they built a larger dome over it.

I was introduced to, and easily believe, the view that nothing whatsoever in classical architecture (from any culture) is done just for the purposes of looking nice, and that it is all based on ancient technologies amplifying the intentions of those in its vicinity. Or going the other direction, concentrating and amplifying universal energies to distribute energy in its vicinity. Or both.
