I think that the name “flat earth” has been straw-manned to death. They’ve successfully lumped any/every anti-globe sentiment into this one all-inclusive flerfer thing.

Pretty smart actually, because if the argument was simply “the earth/our realm isn’t what we’ve been told it is and here’s why…” then it would be harder to dismiss. Convincing anybody that the earth isn’t a globe is a tall order though, because to accept that one must accept that they’ve been lied to by everybody and everything, that their precious and benevolent rulers aren’t their friends and so forth.

The more we pick at the scab of the reality conundrum, the less sense anything makes. Why don’t we reset our world ourselves. Start with one thing you feel reasonably certain about (your own existence/ the hope that good wins / the feeling of joy that recognising the truth gives you) and start from there. Allow the truth to show itself to you. Acknowledge that you will continue to exist in this fake world until you find the exit or the light switch. And always know that death and the bad players are just as fake as everything else so there’s nothing to be afraid of.

But this is the same as saying stop war by putting a flower in a gun barrel. Its a nice gesture, and thats it. Basically youre saying dont worry be happy. Truth aint doin sh*t here. It will not reveal itself to you because it has been blocked from you. Whats the answer? My compliance started to fade many years ago but was completely obliterated by the scam 5 years ago in which I knew I would rather die than accept a jab from the scammers. I told everyone who bothered to listen that where we are now is a twisted world, but some people I care for very much couldn’t hear it (even though they had independently decided not to roll their sleeves up). So I came to the decision to embrace the world in all its fakery and hope for a long slow ripping off of the bandaid. When Chernobyl happened, there were people who stayed, who carried on with their lives, who survived (giving the lie to the risks of radiation poisoning or is that a step too far?). I think about those people sometimes and what made them refuse to comply. The rebel gene is essential to human survival even though it sometimes seems to contradict it. Perhaps the truth is that whatever kind of world we are in / whatever shape it is / simulation or ‘real’ or real / it’s what we’ve got. Hold on to the fact that whatever gets shut down or ridiculed is probably the truth and just keep calm and carry on. I forgot to say that, being British, I come from generations of slavery and control and tugging the forelock for the scumbag billionaires and royal rats, so appearing to be too accepting may rile you, but I know that in my reality it will eventually work as the littlest of little people get ignored till they sink their teeth in.

Flat earth is self evident . There is no dichotomy .

No trigonometric survey over an area of 100sq mls has ever found the earth plane curving in a convex or concave manner. Apparently our theodolites , being capable of superb accuracy , cannot find over 60 ft of curvature over a 10 mile survey. We can survey the topography ,go uphill and down dale but never find the curve.

Geodesy is the mathematical technique used to map plane survey onto a globe , also to deflect people from realising the true shape, you could map it on the outside of a globe to give our convex model or map it on the inside to give a concave sphere , but all trigonometric survey shows that earth is a plane.

Belief in the globe may lead to a dichotomy - convex or concave- but plane earth is evident to all our senses .

A little more on the Reality Tunnels we're inside ; when we BELIEVE we're in rabbit holes we're being endlessly diverted ( = my own opinion on this & not RAW's - so far as I can tell btw)

This has been a regular topic of discussion between my Flat Earther friend and myself for some time and I was able to read a few books and booklet(101 flat earth truths?) and I found a few arguments quite compelling and definitely brought me to a 50/50. I found that in order for FE to work, you kind of have to disregard Nasa and the world organizations or at least assume they have some deliberate joint deception agenda. I personally hold to some of the notable evidence/arguments I found to support FE as GE did not have a sufficient answer or had holes in it that I was not able to find a reasonable explanation or answer to. To this day, I am a 50/50.

I prefer this name (my invention ) to Never A Straight Answer which is commonly used. Feel free to steal it. As you said it can be taken to mean space is fake - I believe this and I’m kind of at the point where I don’t understand why people can’t see it..
