Today we visit Fort Kochi / Fort Emmanuel in India ... Fort Kochi is located in Cochin in Kerala state in India ... there is a lot of history behind it on the worldwide web ... History of Kerala ... Fort Kochi ... Fort Emmanuel ... Column of fire - The Hindu ... Kerala was reclaimed from the sea by the sage Parashurama ... please look at the first photo attached ... is that a Star Fortress [ ??? ] ... the last photo is from an article about a fire in 1889 that gutted the Fort Kochi ... which was originally built out of coconut tree stems and mud ... if so what is a stone column doing there ... the question becomes valid due to the fact that from 1503 to 1538 fortifications were done to the original fort telling us that the cocunut tree stems were replaced by stone walls ... Fort Kochi is the de facto first european fort built in India is the official version ... around 1503 ... so my question to the forum members is this what do you see here at Fort Kochi / Fort Emmanuel [ ??? ] ... any dots that connect ... or is it just another Star Fortress ... the official stories seem to get stranger day by day ...
