One theory on the etymology of the name Iberia, proposed by Giorgi Melikishvili, was that it was derived from the contemporary Armenian designation for Georgia, Virkʿ (Armenian: Վիրք, and Ivirkʿ [Իվիրք] and Iverkʿ [Իվերք]), which itself was connected to the word Sver (or Svir), the Kartvelian designation for Georgians.[4] The letter "s" in this instance served as a prefix for the root word "Ver" (or "Vir"). Just noticed this reading about something else. Sber seems like it could be the origin of Siberia?

Do I need to mention "sver", as in Sverige (Sweden on swedish) ?

Also notice, Iberia in Asia, and Albania also in Asia.

What is the connection between Albania and Albion (an "old" name for the British isles) ?

And you will see Rum was another version of Rome.

And what is the link between Rome, the "Roman Empire", and modern-day Romania ?
The heavy traces of "Latin" language in the Romanian language are obvious. Why that ?

That's a good catch on Sweden. I didn't think of that one.

Albania just reminded me that another name for the supposed white-man's-land in America was Albania, after it was called I think Hvitrimanaland.

I think I can solve this problem with Sver and Sverige. Sverige means Svea Rike, the kingdom of Sweden. There is also the male name Sverker, svar, answer. Svär, which mean bad words. Svantevit, white Svante, an old Slavic god. I leave this to the linguists.

Georgia is called Grusia in Russian.

Some sort of Stonehenge has been found in Spain. Smaller, but alike. It was found in a now dried up dam and was hidden by Franco. Some years ago, I read an article about Iberian artifacts in the US. There may have been an Iberian empire.

I can't decrypt ver. We need linguists after all those years. Westerners sometimes mix up b och v in the Russian alphabet. Ber? Bear? True Arians? Existing Arians? We are Arians? I think the word vir is manly. Sorry, I can only guess.

My personal opinion is that it originated from a consonantal root word of the Phoenicians, in the period of about 1200 BC. The ancient Greeks reached the Iberian Peninsula, of which they had heard from the Phoenicians... Hecataeus of Miletus was the first known to use the term Iberia, which he wrote about circa 500 BC
That portion is from goofle. I had, at one time, researched this, and came up with information relating to the King of Byblos, and his mercantile operation or hbr. And a hbr, or extraction of resources, is what the Phoenicians were all about on the Iberian peninsula, with its vast supplies of gold, silver, lead, and other precious metals.

Ver can be translated to "folk" (modern danish) or "people" or "tribe"
"People from Asia" or "Asa people" (asa being the nordic gods like Thor and Wutan)
