Hmm, I was about to make a post about them lol.

I would think they're communication devices. The spike being a transmitter/receiver

The Helmets and anything that hangs on the Uniforms (Tressen,Litzen ..) was allegedly once made with metall and so an electrical or whats ever device. Communication or so. Now its Cargo Cult, except this one ? :

I was thinking the same, stance and outfit seem feminine on that particular one.

silver viking brooches

also

"Unlike other depictions of Ericson, here he is youthful and clean-shaven. He wears a scale armor shirt, ornamented with breast plates and a studded belt."
from the wiki on the statue

god that sounds awful
SCALE armour
STUDDED belt
BEAST PLATES?
none of that is historically accurate to anything
scale armour was a world away form anything vikings used, anything studded is basically out the window when it comes to not being a dnd character and the "breast plates" might have passed if they were called it what it was, brooches

looking at her other statues she mainly makes greek/roman style statues

summary, anne did a reaaally bad job and should have kept making her normal statues
let the dwarves forge leif

Most male chain maille breast plates are a single, ‘muscular’ piece. But here is one that shows the disks.

The pose looks similar to the one in this painting by Mary McGregor from 1908. She must have gotten her inspiration for the pose from Anne’s statue :)

Maybe the medallions are where the cape attaches? Here are some modern depictions which possibly explain the dual breast plates. Though, Anne’s placement seems a skosh off.

thats the point

" State Architect Guðjón Samúelsson's design of the church was commissioned in 1937. He is said to have designed it to resemble the trap rocks, mountains and glaciers of Iceland's landscape. "
