It was not carved. Our narrative is lying.

18th Century solid marble, allegedly. Naples Italy.

A local graveStone, I checked it carefully, saw no joints or metal supports. How was it made, and why is it in perfect condition after 100 years outdoors? The rope is only 15mm thick..

I can't read most of the Latin in the open book in front of the globe earth but I recognized the verses. Nahum 1:13 (regarding Nineveh) "
Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away.”
Sapientiea 22:2 (The wisdom of Solomon) so could be from one of the 7 books considered "the wisdom books" (psalms, ecclesiastes, etc.). Generally considered (for some unknown, to me, reason) referring to Psalms so we'll go with that one. Ps. 22:2 "O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent." Not sure what Paul 9 IAD, etc. is but if it's supposed to be referring to I Corinthians 6:32....there is no I Corinthians 6:32. I Corinthians chapter 6 ends with verse 20.

For what it's worth.

This tub still exists? Or was it broken apart recently? Not sure of the validity of this writer, but he states,
“The tub is in Bavolovskiy park which does not have much of interest apart from this.”
“The tub is hidden inside an octagonal tower, it represents a massive granite bowl or a huge monolithic pool carved from a single gigantic piece of red granite, its height is about two meters, diameter – over five meters.”
If I Were a King I Would Wash In a Bath Like This! - English Russia

In researching Bavolovskiy park, this octagonal tower comes up –

And this photo definitely shows the same windows in the background.

So, if it's still in one piece, how did they get it in there? Was the octagon built around it? The graffiti looks to be modern, but have no idea when the photo was taken. Possibly the octagon was razed and the tub destroyed, but I'm hoping it's still there :)

I took another look at the OP. It states that the building was originally built around it and this picture of KD's seems to have the same windows, too?

Wow! What a coincidence. I'm just seeing this thread and this image here for the first time, -after I just added it 2 hours ago to an exposition I'm writing about geopolymer-versus-sculpted stone in ancient history. I'll be including lots of quoted passages from Korban along with original discoveries of my own. Should be done within a day or so.

Here's what I wrote yesterday morning in the exposition I'm working on about how a whole lot of sculpture is mistakenly assumed to be carved in stone when in fact it was carved in clay.

"Look at the netting. Does it look real? Does it look like something that you would attempt in a million years? The realism of the netting, and the impossibility of sculpting it tells us that it is real! But it looks like stone, right? So how was a real net made to look like stone? Simple, it was soaked in a geopolymer solution, a slurry, that coated it thickly enough that the material underneath was completely covered. And it was still pliable when removed from the solution, so it could be draped around the figure. It seems that the sculptor went 'a bridge too far' in his mind-blowing innovative sculpting which resulted in logic getting a peak under his skirt...so to speak.
Additionally, the cloth around the boy has folds that would be impossible to sculpt in stone from a tool perspective as well as a psychological perspective since if it were even possible with hand tools, it would take forever to do without breaking the stone."

What really amazes me is that such objects / buildings are usually found in Europe, the US (I don't know if there are similar things in Canada) Asia, the Middle East and Egypt. Almost none of this is found in South America, Australia. Of course, apart from some Mayan, Aztec and Inca constructions (which seem to be much less developed than the Mayans and Aztecs) there is almost nothing like the mysterious things that exist in Europe / US / Russia / Middle East. The reason may be that cataclysms in the southern hemisphere overwhelm everything, or it may be that the civilization that created these artifacts did not expand into these regions.

This bowl of noodles reminded me of this painting I saw here in SH.

While they don't have "tzar" sized/quality artifacts (they actually exist only in Russia, some in Europe and east side of Mediteranian sea) you just forget about all those "colonial" buildings in New Zealand, Australia and all South America countries as well.

Not cut out. First, the statue is cast into a mold, then additional elements are attached to it.

Here is the "marble" from the Hermitage of St. Petersburg.

All lies.

My guess would be Sapientiea is Proverbs 22:2
"The rich and the poor meet together;
the Lord is the Maker of them all. "

I think it is 1 Corinthians 11:32
"But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. "

Latin on the left: "Queirolo adorned the open pages of the book with a Latin passage that reads: “I will break thy chain, the chain of the darkness and long night of which thou art a slave so that thou might not be condemned with this world.”

I just noticed my mistake. Xl= 11, not 6 so it's not First Corinthians 6:32, it's First Corinthians 11:32 which reads "But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world".
My bad. Apologies.
Looks like maco 144 caught it before I did. Thanks for the correction.
