Topic is for the discussion of the double-headed eagle. Too many threads drift off into discussions about this mysterious symbol. I guess, we are trying to locate its origins, and to guess what its meaning could be. I will add a few images below. Feel welcome to join in.

One more from the New World. Presence of the double-headers in the pre-Columbian Americas can not be underestimated.

Does anyone else follow the blog of cat 779? I've read pretty much every article she has written (before she moved to her new platform) and individually her posts are insanity but as a unified theory I haven't seen one better. No other researcher brings this hidden history quite so close to home and the present day. She's found evidence that the chronological manipulation hasn't stopped and that major chronological shifts can be seen as recent as 1970 facilitated by the separation of people by the iron curtain. She says that this weird eagle thing is just one of the many symbols of what she dubs the mega-state.

Some of the main points include the idea that until the revolutions of the 19th early 20th century there was one state on the planet that was peaceful and highly technological. She says that all the revolutions from the french to the russian and beyond happened simultaneously around mid 1900s and the evil deeds were spread out through time to lessen the impact on our modern memory this seems to have been done by people like HG Wells. Also colonialism never happened and what is shown to us as colonialism is actually the population of the mega-state being evacuated from the occupied territories of the red combat clone army to safer places in Africa etc. She says that the mega-state (tartaria) never left only temporarily retreated. the real events of ww2 are encoded in the so called korean war which is still on going, north korea =china and the bankrupt soviet corporation, and america and the un represent the mega-state.
She says that the cultural layer is the result of world wide dust storms that were generated to destroy the combat clones of red army and that this event is recognized as the dust bowl in America.

I found (and lost) an interesting article about the replacement of the eagles on the kremlin with the star and how the soviets for the longest time lacked the technology to 1 remove the original eagles and 2 create a light enough star to fit on top. this lack of technology is a direct result of the 1917 trading with the enemy act and the 1951 inventions secrets act that sought to choke out the communist international on the economic front.

The double-headed eagle was a very prominent symbol in Tsarist Russia. Here are some examples of the double-headed eagle among the artwork commissioned by the Russian royal family:

Interestingly, this symbol can also be found among Native American artworks in the United States. Here is an image I found from a power point presentation/lecture on Native Americans. The image was described as a bird pictograph found in Paint Lick Mountain, Tazewell, Virginia, which "
may have been done by the Cherokee Indians who lived in the area. This example is probably of the mythical “Thunderbird” that was thought to be responsible for thunder, lightening and rain. The Thunderbird is a prominent icon seen throughout the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex (SCC) which included Cherokee ancestors."

I've attached the original presentation for reference. I don't know how reliable cave paintings are though, since KorbenDallas has pointed out in an earlier post that cave paintings are very likely forgeries.

Btw the photos of the Russian double headed eagle artwork are my own. They are taken of the Faberge collection at the Virginia Institute of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia. There is an impressive collection of Faberge there, as well as many artworks from around the world.

You have a point. This brings to question the story of Faberge. and if these works were actually Tartarian artworks. Newearth has an interesting video of the artwork in the Imperial Palace in Russia, and how it couldn't have possibly been made by illiterate peasants. But the plate clearly has the date 1914 embossed on it. So who made these works, and what is the real story behind them? I'm planning another trip to Richmond; I will try to take better quality photos if I get a chance to view the collection again.

Official description from the source.

Ancient Bactria and Margiana were areas along the Oxus and Murghab rivers in modern Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. While these areas were sparsely inhabited during much of the third millennium B.C., by about 2200 B.C. permanent settlements with distinctive forms of architecture, burial practices, and material culture had been established, supported in part by active trade with parts of Iran, Mesopotamia, and the Indus Valley.

This silver-gilt shaft-hole axe is a masterpiece of three-dimensional and relief sculpture. Expertly cast and gilded with foil, it represents a bird-headed hero grappling with a wild boar and a winged dragon. The idea of the heroic bird-headed creature probably came from western Iran, where it is first documented on a cylinder seal impression. The hero's muscular body is human except for the bird talons that replace the hands and feet. He is represented twice, once on each side of the axe, and consequently appears to have two heads. On one side, he grasps the boar by the belly and on the other, by the tusks. The posture of the boar is contorted so that its bristly back forms the shape of the blade. With his other talon, the bird-headed hero grasps the winged dragon by the neck. This creature is distinguished by folded and staggered wings, a feline body, and the talons of a bird of prey in the place of his front paws. Its single horn has been broken off and lost.

Baktrians were the inhabitants of the country of Baktria around what is now Afghanistan.

Baktrians were followers of Zoroastrianism, Ancient Greek religion, Buddhism, and Hinduism.
Baktria was a Hellenistic nation, left over after the conquest of Alexander the Great. Baktria and it's citizens were rather well off for the time period due to it being a major trade area between India and the west (and china to a lesser degree).
I have also come across this interesting description:

Double-headed eagles have been present in imagery for millennia. The two-headed eagle can be found in the archaeological remains of the Sumerian civilization and through the Hittite civilization, dating from a period that ranges from the 20th century BC to the 7th century BC. The Gandaberunda is another example of a myhthological two-headed bird, which is in common use in India...

Also used as a symbol of rank for the highest order of Scottish Rite Free Masonry. Now we see it used as the coat of arms in Russia. It holds the same meaning as the Jewish Star(Star of Remphan in the bible), and the Kabbalah cube.
Then I found these eagle-headed men/gods in Assyrian relief art that is supposedly from the ancient city of Nimrud that was coincidently destroyed by ISIS back in 2015. Hmm.. ISIS (a CIA backed asset) destroying Ninurta symbolism?

We all know the Anunnaki origins are from the Sumerian texts that Zecharia Sitchin made famous, so perhaps this double headed eagle somehow honors these aliens or "gods"?

I also found an old ATS post titled "Double Headed Eagle - God/Alien + human = two creatures combining to make one - Truth revealed?" from 2010 that seems to have the same idea and apparently wikipedia used to have a different description in their Double-headed eagle entry.

Origins Double-headed eagles have been present in imagery for millennia. The two-headed eagle can be found in the archaeological remains of the Sumerian civilization and through the Hittite civilization, dating from a period that ranges from the 20th century BC to the 7th century BC. Cylindric seals discovered in Bogazkoy, an old Hittite capital in modern-day Turkey, represent clearly a two-headed eagle with spread wings. The aesthetics of this symmetrical position explains in part the birth of this religious figure: It originally dates from circa 3,800 BC, and was the Sumerian symbol for the god Ninurta, son of Enlil. It can also be seen in the same region in three monumental settings: Circa 1,900 BC during the Hittite surge from north-central Anatolia (modern Turkey) down into Babylonia; in Alacahöyük around 1400 BC and in Yazilikaya before 1250 BC. Here the context looks slightly different and totally religious: The eagle returns to its ancient origins as a symbol of divine power.
Another interesting write up at this blog linked below as well.

Symbology of double-headed eagle: Double-headed eagle
Masonic meaning: THE DOUBLE-HEADED EAGLE AND WHENCE IT CAME
[N]one can claim a more romantic or significant history than that of the Thirtieth Degree, that of the Grand Elect Knight Kadosh, or Knight of the Black and White Eagle. As an emblem this eagle is the epitome of religious and symbolic history, and to trace the winding flight of the double-headed bird is to survey the whole course of civilization, from its grey dawn north of the Persian gulf to this modern World. Its flight from the plains of Sumeria marks the rise and fall of the great mother religions of the world, and it was well on its journey, by some fifteen hundred years, when Moses found a name for the God of Israel.

Wiki says the double headed eagle has always been a symbol of Empire which makes sense when you see it displayed on so many national flags.
The Masonic dictionary takes a more poetic definition that basically says the same thing as Wiki, emphasizing the "always" portion from the (official) beginnings of civilization (Sumeria) and ancient religions having been established as a symbol of empire fully 1500 years before Moses.
Why a double-headed eagle was chosen as a symbol of empire is anybody's guess but, apparently in Masonic circles, it's a symbol that you're ready to play with the big boys

it was a double headed eagle to show equality and duality. up and down, left and right, mom and dad, sun and moon, dogs and cats, heaven and earth. however, that global hyperborean community was taken over by a vicious regime. all we are left with now is a big, fat, one-headed eagle.

two wings, same fat eagle. red or blue, left wing or right. no doubt.

Whatever it was, it was probably the most important symbol of the global unified culture that lived on planet earth during the early centuries of the last millenium.

As our ancestors weren't just doing things for fun, there is probably an old meaning behind it that is more than simply symbolic. Whatever it's symbolic meaning, it seemed to signify unity among other things, because rulers all around the world ruled under the banner of the double-headed eagle. It is strange that the meaning of such an important symbol has been completely buried.

A being that has two heads but only one body could mean that there is unity in acting, feeling and being among multiple (two at least) independently thinking entities.

Taking this symbol away and replacing it was a one-sided eagle during the last centuries is also significant.

With everything ancient, I tend look into Hindu mythology, because it's one of the less corrupted sources of mythology that we have today.

The double-headed eagle in Hindu mythology is called Gandaberunda. It is thought to "possess immense magical strength", and "fight the forces of destruction". Unfortunately, this doesn't tell us much.

"The reason we see one eagles body is because it represents the Anunnakis Ruling Royal Family, who from heaven to earth came. The two heads represent the kings two sons, Enlil and Enki whom the earth was given to, to rule over...not in a fictitious/fable sense...but as in 'the real deal'.
Now you know."

comment on ancient-origins.net

It's probably far fetched, but did the ruling class eliminate Enki from this symbol, because they were mad at him for siding with us dumb humans?

Another idea: If one of the heads symbolized the past (and the other the future), it could have been a strong signal by the elites to cut of the past after they managed to hide our history.

I found out the true name for it is Doppeladler and when searching for it I found all sorts of articles in other languages. Turns out it's alive and well and scandalous, there's even a hand gesture for it!

Schweizer Nationalteam in der Krise

In the game against Serbia, the former Bundesliga pros Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka, both with Kosovar-Albanian roots, celebrated their goals with the double-headed eagle gesture. The forming of the Albanian heraldic animal with his hands was considered by FIFA as a prohibited political statement. It was followed by a fine of 8680 euros for the two players. The Swiss captain Stephan Lichtsteiner, who had joined the jubilation, was penalized with 4340 euros. But that was not the end of the topic. The gestures and jubilation cause discussion in the country and in the crew, and they "drove us apart," Behrami said. That's why he already felt headwind at the finals in Russia.
Just discovered there's a 3 headed variation as well, with an interesting meaning

novikov_triple_eagle-jpg.jpg

The sceptre of tsar Michael I of Russia was decorated with a three-headed eagle, and representations of the design are found in Russian symbolism. The literary anthology Lado, published in 1911, opens with a poem "Slavic Eagle" (Славянский орел) by Dmitriy Vergun, in which the three heads are explained as representing the union of three races which contributed to the genesis of Russia, the "western" head representing the Varangians, the "eastern head" the Mongols and the central head the Slavs.
So while many explanations say it's referring to past and future, or west and east empire, this one seems to say the heads represent a union of different races

Alba, Alba Longa, Albania, Albion.

The bicephalous eagle is a powerful symbol because it's so unique, yet still pops up everywhere. While such a birth defect mutation has probably happened before, such a bird would almost certainly not survive. It's safe to say that virtually no one has ever witnessed an adult two-headed eagle, even though its use spans the globe. To me, this is a clear indicator of cultural influence (at the bare minimum). Other symbols may well be evidence of the same, but could just as easily be coincidental, when the symbols depict things that are commonly witnessed in nature by anyone. An example would be the "two-horned" theme discussed in another thread. It's an interesting idea, but far from an uncanny synchronicity like the bicephalous eagle.

symbology vs. symbolism
Noun - symbology (countable and uncountable, plural symbologies)
  1. (uncountable) The study or use of symbols.
  2. (countable) An encoding scheme, particularly for barcodes.
Noun - symbolism (countable and uncountable, plural symbolisms)
  1. Representation of a concept through symbols or underlying meanings of objects or qualities. [from between 1645 and 1655.]
  2. (obsolete) A combining together of parts or ingredients.
Symbology is more like the name of the discipline, subject, study-area.
Symbolism pertains to each individual symbol and the concept embedded within it, what it's meant to evoke in the viewer.
So saying the 'symbology of the double heaed eagle' is like saying the 'vexilology of France' for example when you really mean just the flag.
I'm only saying it implies a certain degree of amateurship.
What you want is to undertand the symbolism.

Symbolism 101
In order to truly understand how symbolism works and not just choose to believe this or that explanation you must became acquainted with a different type of thinking. Some call it 'right-brain'.
Symbols are like a language of their own. Much the same way in which the architecture of a beautiful building 'speaks' to you, each symbol tells a story, evokes something within you. Now the main reason symbolism is so 'fringe' these days, so miss-understood, so ignored is that if that certain something it's trying to evoke is not there,.. well then there's really not that much you can get from it, is there?

Symbolism works like an encoding tool and it comes with certain prerequisites, there's a method to it. Just like in classic encryption you have:
- the unincrypted message
- the encryption of the message so that it cannot be understood by the 'enemy' (just sayin')
- the decrypting tool which allows the receiver to reverse the process and
- to turn said unrecognizable message into the original unincrypted message.

Just imagine the incrypting and decrypting parts as a sort of knowledge, a book they've read, reread, understood and appropriated the knowledge within to the point that they stopped carrying the book around everywhere they went, they just know it - its wisdom is now inherent in the way they look at things. It's like those who read the book understand the message, and the others are left in the dark.

OK. Now as far as symbolism goes.. of course we're not talking about an actual book. The knowledge I'm referring to is, simply put, the true nature of the world we live in and of the laws that govern it. Some call it truth, truth about us, our world, out life, everything - it is precisely that structure, that understanding lacking in most of us that keeps us in bondage, in chaos, in slavery. So it is because people generally don't understand themselves, the world and the inherent laws that they don't understand symbolism. Most haven't even heard of the possibility of the existence of such a 'book'. Or at most they've heard rumours it's mysterious.

Moving on. Symbolism relies upon conceptual thinking, making associations, an algorithmic approach and the capacity of looking at things from different perspectives, as it were 'borrowing' borrowing someone else's perspective. It's the ability of 'entertaining' a though without accepting or rejecting it. Over the years I've come to think of myself as a 'conceptual contortionist'. Pattern recognition is also key.

One prerequisite to understanding symbolism is alligning to truth. The lost art of the Trivium (tri - 3 , via - way) comes to mind again.
It is the one and only algorithmic manner of correct thinking that leads to truth discovery. Some say it's the true Trinity. I agree.
It's based on human physilogy corellated with the true relation between all disciplines/areas of study.
Long story short you are the most complex piece of equipment in this world. It's just that you were never given the 'user manual' on how you work. Even modern science admits the human brain is the most complex thing in the world. But they only tackle the physical part of it.

Human consciousness is 3-fold in nature. Will, emotions and thinking. Everything fits in these 3 categories, everything.
1535987024605-jpeg.jpg
The human central nervous system is 3-fold in nature also. What a coincidence.
1. Reptilian brain. Will - mostly will to live. Reptiles only have this, that's why they're cold-blooded - because they don't have any emotions. It's just response to environmental stimuli, and the will to keep on living.
2. Mammalian brain. Mammals have reptilian brain + mammalian brain, which allows them to feel emotions. Thats why your dog truly loves you and your cat could. That's why you can bond with animals, they feel emotions - they don't understand the words, but the feel the tone, the emotions attached.
3. Neocortex. This is the part of the brain for higher thinking. And, of course, this is also where it gets a bit more complex.
1535987783815-jpeg.jpg
8077-6d0e0226fdfd3bdeff861ba273bb5cd0.jpg
So you have the 2 hemispheres. This is what I was alluding to earlier by saying that symbolism is a right-brain thing.
The left is associated with masculinity and the right with femininity. Rigid-flexible, focus-big picture, linear thinking - associative thinking.

The 2 masonic pillars represent this. They are 'of the left hand path' because they focus only on the masculine and ignore the feminine aspects in order to keep people out of balance. That's why the church's idea of holy trinity is 'father, son and holy ghost' - an interesting family dynamic there, wouldn't you say? And that's why school only focuses on left brain - to keep you at a certain level, only looking at things the way they taught you to, not realizing there are other ways.
There is nothing implicitly wrong with the left side, they are just 2 sides of the same coin. You can't have one without the other. They are just different.

The balance between the 2 hemispheres in each individual determines the quality of thinking that individual is capable at that time. It is inescapable. Another very important aspect is the fact that the worldview determines behaviour, you act according to what/how you think.
Given the chaotic nature of the world we live in not too many have this balance between the masculine and the feminine within in check.

Most have a left-brain imbalance, almost all their thinking is primarily left-brain. They see from that perspective. This leads to an imbalance - because the neocortex isn't calibrated properly, the higher level thinking processes are rerouted and in this case they go to the reptilian brain.
This means the individual doesn't have access to higher thinking and all the decisions and the behaviour stem from a perspective of strictly surviving. Response to environmental stimuli, egoistic approach, no emotions.. me against the world.

Right-brain imbalance is like being all-over the place, wishy-washy thinking, lack of structure, inner-discipline. In leads to the rerouting of the neocortex functions to the mammalian brain. Emotional thinking. Emotions are meant as a moral compass. You know when you do something wrong, you feel good when you help someone, so on.. You feel it physically. In the case of this kind of imbalance the individual doesn't use emotion as a compass, as an insight as to what right and what is wrong - they are in a point where they ignore certain emotions, pretending they are not there(lying to themselves) and center their behaviour on getting to feel the emotions they want to feel. (the "love and light" people that refuse to acknowledge the problems in the world because it makes them feel bad)

Left-brain in master mentality and right-brain is slave mentality as far as imbalances go.

True harmony between the 2 hemispheres unlocks the potential of the individual, allows them to allign themselves to truth, not try to make the outside world allign to their ideas. The real magic happens when using both at the same time. The 3rd eye/pineal gland is associated with this state. It's like there's something in your brain that only lights up when you're using it the way it's meant. Think about it..
The brain works based on subtle electrical impulses, there are literally photoreceptors in your pineal gland, situated between the hemispheres, basically smack in the middle, but there has to be a flow of current for that part to be 'brought to life'.
This is what the proverbial 'light within', 'know thyself' or 'look within' alludes to. The light within is the true light, the sun is symbolically the deceiver meant to keep you looking outside of yourself for answers, ignoring your own self.

In occult / hermetic / hidden knowledge man is also considered 3-fold: body, soul and spirit.

spirit-soul-body-mind-emotions-will-jpg.jpg
The thing is depending on how we feel, think and act in the world we can become shut off from the spirit. And this realm is the ideal one, one of principles, of truth. It is unwavering. It is only us that can choose to allign with it, and only when this connection is established we can as it were live life as it was intended, or reach our full potential. This connection to the divine is what sets us free.
What does it imply? Living in truth, adhereing to the laws of this universe - but, first of all - the removal of contradictions from within.
As you feel, so you think and so you act. Don't fight yourself, don't waste your energy needlessly pulling in all directions at once.

On one level the brain works like any muscle.. it gets atrophied when not exercised properly.

Are you beginning to sense how 'meta' this is going to get?

8079-514e79336b23f5bff22275be04a80042.jpg
The trivium, as stated above is one level the first 3 disciplines of classical education. The other 4 comprise the quadrivium, together forming what we call the '7 liberal arts'. Liberal because they lead to liberty/freedom.
1. grammar - in the sense of what do we mean by the terms we use, just so we are on the same page.
- the information you are taking into consideration
2. logic - removal of inconsistencies (logical fallacies - common pattern of lying both consciously and unconsciously)
3. rhetoric - presenting the conclusion

The quadrivium pertains to measuring things in the world by use of abstract concepts.
4. algebra - study of the point. - the most simple abstraction(representation of something that is not really there) and inherent truths of the world of algebra. (pretty unwavering)
5. geometry - study of the point in space - spacial harmony
6. music - study of the point in time - rithm, harmony in music
7. astrology - study of the point in both space and time - as above so below - understanding of one's place in the world.

The basic pythagorean theorem and triangle (3*2+4*2=5*2, namely 9+16=25) is symbolic of this true relation between the following:
the trivium - the vertical line is symbolic of our allignment to truth and divinity.
the quadrivium - is symbolic of the measuring/weighing of this world - the horizontal
the 5 senses - is what gets activated when we appropriate the first 2 concepts. It's what gets alluded to by the phrases 'for those that have eyes to see and ears to hear' or 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'. (if you do not know what something is, how can you recognize it) - it's in the word as well 're-cognize', you can't re-cognize anything if you haven't 'cognized'(thought about it) in the first place.

So basically you have the trivium(relating to the divine, spirit) and the quadrivium(relating to the material world, body) bridged by the 5 senses(input from the material to the spiritual, soul, psyche, personality, call it however you may wish)

OK. Now I told you this story so I can tell you this story.
The world of symbolism can only be understood when 'fully functional' as it were because all its references are pertaining to archetypal truths about different elements in the world. So if those are lacking you can't make heads or tails of it.
I find the best approach to symbolism is in the lines of Jung's archetypal theory of the pshyche.. it goes into the collective unconscious which is like the collective spirit of mankind containing all possibilities of roles and attributes individuals draw from to define themselves.
Without overcomplicating things, in his basic view everything in the world exists as an individuated case of a general archetype. Basic mind over matter, "in the beginning there was the Word" - as in for anything to exist it has to first be born in someone's mind. The idea always precedes the carrying out of the idea. True both for the world and for us.

All archetypes have 2 primary sets of distinctions.
- masculine or feminine (of course not strictly gender)
- positive or negative

Just like in the case of 'Tartaria' and 'the empire'.. in many instances you find the same symbol used by both with slight alterations. This is because the parasitical mentality cannot create on its own, it can only steal, copy and appropriate. So their inteded interpretation of any once sacred symbol is always some sick and twisted inversion meant to induce some sort of cognitive dissonance, making you doubt yourself and constantly obfuscating things.
example: Say the Rus did conquer Tartatia and they just labelled themselves as the tartars, stole their riches, their history, their symbols, their everything. What a mindjob..

In masonic 'lingo' one of the symbolic meanings of the checkered floor is that it plays with your mind.. it's different(colour) and the same(pattern) at the same time. One tile white, one black.. all across the floor. Why? It's like their goal to convince people that black is white and vice versa. This is the underlying reason for all the inconsistent information floating around about anything - just so you don't know which is which, everything becomes relative, even the existence of truth becomes questionable, not to mention actually getting to it.
I stumbled across this thing recently where it was talking about education at the time they took the Trivium out of schools and switched to outcome-based education. And they went so far as to calculate how much it would cost to convince children that snow is black(per head) and how much cheaper would it be to make them believe that it's just dark grey.
See the mentalities are so different that most regular people cannot even conceptualize that kind of evil. They can't believe someone could do that, they can't imagine it actually because their education was strictly left-brain.

If you made it this far I congratulate you, I'm sure it wasn't easy.
Now the double/triple headed eagle

coat_of_arms_of_the_russian_federation-png.png
In my opinion as far as the number of heads and crowns this is the original and the others are variations on it.

The archetype evoked here is as following:
The 2 heads symbolize the 2 aforementioned hemispheres of the brain - we basically all have 2 brains/2 heads. The little crown above each head stands for the limited sovereignty of each part, being ruled over by the divine aspect of spirit(big crown in the middle) when in harmony as I've talked about before - 3rd eye, light within, however you may wish to call it. Negative version is the concept of hegelian dialectic and the idea of controlling both sides of the apparent conflict to bring about the 'hidden hand' agenda.

The sceptre(left) and the orb(right) are also symbols of sovereignty. In unspoiled symbolism these things are meant to be understood in context as 'every man his own master', each man governing his own self, and nothing more. This was later usurped by the 'royal bloodlines' which exteriorize the whole concept. It's strictly them who are the sovereigns and they rule over us, the slaves.
The sceptre is sometimes replaced by the sword or the mace - I think of it in terms of 'of this world', while the spherical orb pertains to 'not of this world' (the perfect shape). It even has 2 hemispheres on the upper part and the cross(4 arrows pointing within) on top symbolizing the union of the material with the spiritual, within.

As long as were here and I happened to choose this picture, the "st. george slaying the dragon" is a classic.
positive: it symbolizes the triumph of the higher self over the animalistic impulses(/desires). The self discipline, determination and will it takes to truly bring to light that which is negative within and kill it. It's an alchemical process. Look into the 7 operations of alchemy for greater depth.
negative: it symbolizes the triumph of 'the empire' over 'Tartaria'(who used the symbol of the dragon on their flag). It's their screwed up way of trying to portray themselves as the good guys for having gotten rid of 'the savages'.

Lest we forget.. why an eagle? The eagle is associated with height(getting higher to have a better perspective on things, rising above the situation as it were to better understand the context), sharp vision (sharp thinking, seeing things for what they really are, even from the distance). The flipside is that it's a bird of prey - which is exactly what the empire does.

This symbol(the whole double-headed eagle I mean) used to be everywhere because everybody knew the truth back in the day, it hadn't been occulted yet.

I could go on, but I have to end this post..
In my experience this kind of information changed my life, what you choose to do with it from now on is your problem, I only encourage you to pass it on, it's the only reasonable thing to do.
Tomorrow just might be the first day of the rest of your life.

PS: Look into Mark Passio for more on the trivium. What On Earth Is Happening (I'm not saying believe everything the man says, I'm saying check if he's right. The material is almost never talked about, anywhere, in any circumstances)

Why would somebody create a symbol for two brain hemispheres? Just curious...

Tyler Durden said:
Because it's not a symbol for 2 brain hemispheres, but for what they represent. In hermetic / occult knowledge they are most commonly referred to as the Sacred Masculine and the Sacred Feminine, each having it's own way of thinking - thus being quite literally 2 brains even though they appear as 1.

Each is governed by a set of principles, for example:

the right, the feminine: do not conduct violence against other beings.
the left, the masculine: if violence is conducted upon you, you have the right to use force to defend yourself.
(the distinction being that it is violence in the case of 'who started it', but it's justified to use force to defend yourself against violence)
If all people on earth lived by these laws we would be living in harmony, not the war and the chaos we're in.

the right, the feminine: rewards right action
the left, the masculine: punishes wrong action

See how the perspectives differ, but complement each other? The merging of the opposites, the alchemical wedding if you will, 'giving birth' to right action in the world(third crown ruling over the 2 / emanating from the merging of the 2). They sought to symbolize this because 'the word' needed to be spread.

It all plays into ethics and morality. The more moral a society is .. the more freedom each individual within that society experiences. Thus, naturally, people understood that it's not enough to keep it to themselves - in order for this to have an impact on any collective, all individuals have to adhere to these truths.

See if you are living in truth and I, as your neighbour, am not, I might constantly wreak havoc in your life just for the fun of it, without realizing I'm hurting myself as well at the same time. So it might be useful for you to tell me about your 'truth and all'.

You know how they say.. a picture is worth a thousand words. The proper symbolism can really help drive a point home, help you visualize it.

Ironically, Faithless had a song about this: We come one. I'll leave you with the lyrics.

All the subtle flavours of my life have become
Bitter seeds and poisoned leaves
Without you
You represent what's true
I drain the colour from the sky and turn blue
Without you
These arms lack a purpose
Flappin' like a humming bird
I'm nervous 'cause I'm the left eye, you're the right
Would it not be madness to fight?
We come one

In you the song which rights my wrongs
In you the fullness of living
The power to begin again
From right now
In you

I'm unafraid
Never, never scared
Worries washed
Pressed, aired
I'm the left eye, you're the right
Would it not be madness to fight?
We come one

I agree this is an appropriated symbol.
It makes sense they do not create, when you consider they do not worship a creator.

This statue seems to show Tartary is a conquered people. Close to home.

You are welcome. ("If you can reach one man...")
Very 'nice' statue. A lot going on there. As a general rule of thumb(there are exceptions) this kind of artwork is meant to be decoded as halves.
- the left side is for what is going on in the world (of this world)
- the right side is for what is actually going on behind the scenes (not of this world)

Pike's right arm(LEFT side of statue) is keeping 'Tartatria' and implicitly the knowledge represented on the banner below his ground level (as in underground, hidden, occulted, out of sight, not seeing the light of day).

Pike's left arm(RIGHT side of statue) is holding what can only be 'Morals and Dogma' (his magnum opus).
The positive symbolism of 'a book' is generally in the lines of 'the book of law' (truth), just like Moses' tablets. It is generally portrayed as open, meaning free access, for anyone, not hidden, so on.
1. the book is closed, the information(truth) is occulted.
2. the book is in his left hand because he is of the left-hand side.
3. the book itself(Morals and Dogma) is one version of 'the playbook'(of masons) replacing what should be the true bible(word of god)
4. correlating with the 1st half, it's their way of saying that the information hidden from the 'masses'(the world) is, as it were, 'kept backstage' for the few that use precisely said knowledge to rule the masses.

The book itself speaks volumes even without opening it.

morals-and-dogma_2-jpg.jpg

morals and dogma_1.png

1. 'Morals' and 'dogma' as terms are pretty antithetical terms. Morality is in line with truth, while dogma is more like blind belief. You have cognitive dissonance in the first 3 words.
2. The double-headed eagle is altered 'a bit' - the 2 heads have no limited sovereignty(crowns). It's ALL governed from behind the scenes.
3. You have 16 stars under each wing, which gives you 32 in total, the alleged 'top of the hierarchy'(32 degree) for how masonry is presenting itself. The 2 wings of the same bird goes into 'controlled opposition', managing both sides.
4. Each 16 is actually 8+8 - H H - hidden hand. Hidden left hand, hidden right hand. It's ALL a game.
5. The 33 in the triangle(upward pointing - masculine energy) symbolizes the 33rd degree Master Mason. (usurping the 'all seeing eye' - all-knowing, all-seeing, all-wise) Basically, this is where the directives that are carried out by those of the 'hidden hand' come from.
6. ORDO AB CHAO - order out of chaos. positive - truth
7. DEUS MEUMQUE JUS - god and my right. Commonly associated with the higher echelons of masonry, their 'supreme councils' or what have you.
8. The cover is red because: (to bring it full circle)

freemasonry-albert-pike_1.jpg

PS1: Interesting that 1871 is also the date of the Great Fire of Chicago.
PS2: Pike is basically explaining how the '32 degrees degrees and that's it' is nothing but a nursery rhyme. They are like the breeding grounds from where the higher-ups pick the psychopaths and sociopaths capable of carrying out their plans.
PS3: You can actually make out a 33 in the triangle between the eagle's heads on the banner.

The double-headed bird-like symbol has its origins in a plasma formation in the sky. It was very large and seen by people from many different parts of the world. Below is an example of cymatic pattern made of sand, produced by specific frequencies in the shape resembling the double-headed Eagle.

Cymatic Double-Headed Eagle.jpg

The image a plasma formation in the sky at specific cymatic frequency would produce, would be much clearer and shapes more pronounced. To people on Earth it would look just like a bird of prey with two heads.

The double headed eagle is really indeed an interesting topic to be assessed and dissected. I can only address the usage of it in Albanian national flag as a strong symbolic presence. In the posts above is shown the football players as Xhaka and Shaqiri using the hand symbol of it in a childish manner, because they don't play neither for Albania's nor for Kosovo's national football teams, even though they're Albanians of national origin. They both play for Switzerland's national team due to them earning the new citizenship.

Anyway, the double headed symbol in Albania is due to it's use from the old Kastriot family in early 14th Century in Kruje (Albania). And especially to Gjergj Kastrioti who was a legendary leader and national hero of Albanian forces against the invasion of the Ottoman Empire during the 15th Century. He successfully lead many victorious defending campaigns against relentless Ottoman attacks, effectively resisting and blocking their advance for more than 50 years of brutal continuous attacks from Sultan Mehmet the 1st (dying failing to take Arberia) and succumbing to his son, Mehmet the 2nd.

Flamuri.jpeg

Gjergj Kastrioti (Latin: Georgius Castriota; Italian: Giorgio Castriota; 1405 – 17 January 1468), commonly known as Skanderbeg (Albanian: Skënderbeu or Skënderbej, from Ottoman Turkish: اسکندر بگ, romanized: İskender Bey; Italian: Scanderbeg), was an Albanian feudal lord and military commander who led a rebellion against the Ottoman Empire in what is today Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo,[a] Montenegro, and Serbia.
Sylvie Ivanova has also a good video about double headed eagle symbolism around the world, she just shut off the comments.

I tried to gather every ancient two headed eagles, open attached ZIP file. If you have more feel free to share ! (most of them got date and place however i have reason not to trust these datings)

From my understanding, two headed eagles represent two persons, who when together, have incredible power. When eagles are mating they fly one above the other.

Just Found these on British Museum
Cylinder Seal
here is another.
Another Cylinder Seal

forgot the links for the other 2 examples sorry,

1st example,
There is an additional Scorpion,
another example of one becoming two.
Interesting that the eagles are orientated opposite to one another.
one facing upwardly and the other downwardly.

in the second example the Eagle has two goats in its talons.
similar to the globus cruciger and the sceptre in the constantinople roman version
nothing new under the sun eh?

The Eagle is a prominent symbol for the following:
-Rome
-United States
-Prussia
-Third Reich
-Many others

The above symbols all display the single headed Eagle whatever their stated ideologies may have been.

The double headed Eagle may represent a two-sided ideology in appearance that ultimately works towards the same goal. How much do we see the appearance of two sides of every issue, cause, debate, dispute and so forth that truly use the same means to pursue the same ends despite the overt statement of differing values?

I completely agree that this is nothing new under the sun at all.

Definately symbolic in present day, and in recent times of the Romans.
in all their many flavours and colours.

My interpretation was similar, two heads of the roman state one as emperor the other as pope
One as Military Ruler and the other as Religious Financier.
Think on how powerful each of these four elements are individually,
then consider them collectively pursuant of one disguised goal.
That is what still rules over us today,
the roman empire never fell it simply diversified and rebranded itself.

I had a similar conversation on here recently,
in regards to south/central america.
the emperor at that time was charles v,
who was king in germany, italy and spain
archduke and duke of austria and in burgandy,
he was also lord in the netherlands
thats basically all of europe under one guy.
Theres your military rule.

combining that with Pope Leo X
who is also known as Giovanni di Lorenzo de' Medici
of the evil medici banking family in florence.
In these two individuals you have the two headed eagle circa 1519.
in this case they were the primary aggressors
in the conquest of the aztecs and incas,
mudering and plundering the new world.
or perhaps retaking lands they felt were theirs by birthright.
i digress.

But that this image appears so similarly in the distant past and through these cylinders of akkad.
you have to ask if there is a deeper understanding to be had of this symbol.
one that is completely forgotten but still present in imagery today.

anciently the eagle and the scorpion were interconnected.
I remember reading that the scorpion was deemed unlucky in ancient egypt and so its symbol was changed to the eagle.
but before it that symbol had always been the scorpion.
the inference in the book i read (possibly morals and dogma) was that this was tied to the constellations.
my personal interpretation of both symbols is that they both have a single tail
and dual elements at their uppers. (the two heads of the bird) (the two pincers of the scorpion)
I took this to indicate the coming of two from the one.
the ageless principle producing two similar attributes.

In closing your response in regards to the hegelian dialectic is apt and holds to a great truth.
Everything and I mean literally everything is historically suggestive of this.
Not only in our recent history.
where we are always given two options to divide ourselves between.
But also the distant past and the ancient past similarly.
those same options and choices effecting the people of those times similarly.
even the most ancient manuscripts available,
indicate similar choices being made between two dividing constants.
be they light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong, rich and poor,
or life and death.
always being lead and influenced by
The Military.
The Ruler.
The Religious Head.
The Financier.
and yet we have never known a life without these figures.
this forced guidance felt throughout all time.
it makes you question if there was a time where a human being was ever truly free.
cheers.

"it makes you question if there was a time where a human being was ever truly free."

That is the concerning part as many who believe there was a greater civilization before ours that truly built many of the structures that still stand today was a great society where the individual was truly free.

The official history always tells you that despite the great achievements of previous civilizations they were always corrupt in some fashion.

I think we have to consider that there was a reason that a civilization before ours fell and a disturbing possibility that it was just as corrupted as ours. Whether it was the Romans, Greeks, Persians, Aztecs, Mayans as the official history states or a great one world unified people as alternate perceptions indicate the result appears to be exactly the same.

It appears more likely that civilization never truly fell. We are simply told that it did as a method of instilling fear.

I recall what Subotai said in the original "Conan the Barbarian":
"Civilization...ancient and wicked."

Perhaps the best way for a human being to be free at any point was simply to look within themselves.

The symbolism and the methods of control seem to endure regardless of what events transpire. Take a look at all the strange symbolism within the Iowa State Capitol. This is a state that was supposedly organized shortly before the U.S. Civil War and provided over 10% of its total population to fight. It is an agrarian state and yet when you look inside the capitol you'd think you were in a Roman palace of some kind. There are two paintings in the entire building that barely hint that you are even in the middle of the United States.
