Holy cow, something just clicked in my mind that can maybe tie some loose ends
In mainstream archeology there’s a thing called the problem of sumer, refering to a theory that the summerians basically appeared out of nowhere with their own language, customs and traditions, along with the notion of blood rituals/sacrifice and there’s no connection between their language and any other known language
This is where the idea starts to form, because if they sort of just existed out of nowhere, that can only mean an influence from a previous advanced civilization, contemporary with them, because it makes no sense otherwise. Another crucial thing to point out is the summerians were deep into blood ritual sacrifice, so they, presumably, learned it from the advanced beings who conquered them, so was this advanced race the creators of blood magic sacrifice? If so, they were connected, or related, with the human bird hybrids of mythology, because they’re heavilly associated with blood ritual sacrifice
If the interpretarions of the summerian tales are correct, they were subjugated by this advanced civilization, and since in contact with their knowledge, the summerians themselves became an advanced civilization who began to conquer, or enslave, other populations, and also began a kind of eugenics selective breeding program.
Within this idea, the original advanced civilization is the pre colapse people, or demi gods, who made rituals to the hybrid beings. The summerians are the conquerors who made blood rituals to the demi gods, and they ended up streaming their ideas everywhere else.
In the conventional timeline this is about 6000 years, give or take, what i'm failing to conceptualize is how wrong the mainstream dating is, because the same rituals and control systems are in place today, so we can't be that far from when this entire system was created.
