That's so interesting Vini, cool skillset. It makes me wonder about all the gaming let alone sheer screen time the younger people have as their life. To be fair, I’ve seen that pic floating around and I’m pretty sure it’s a view from google earth (which is total horseshit to begin with). But that itself is a rabbit hole of its own.

I’ve never seen that pic to be claimed to be a real photo of earth, but then again… there are not many pics claimed thusly. They keep us in such a state of suspended disbelief that they don’t have to try very hard.

It’s a false dichotomy. We have plenty of failure points when various aspects of the globe model are held to account, and we also have some critical issues with the flat model, though they are fewer. This just means that both models are wrong! yet, there’s this weird “it can only be one or the other” vibe to the whole topic. Surely by design too, since one of the steps in any major coverup is for the perpetrators to seed alternate explanations that still serve their agenda into the zeitgeist as a way of controlling the less credulous crowd.

The Flat Earth Society was probably a product of Langley or somewhere equally nefarious. The flat model to me seems to be “getting warmer”, but still not quite it. I have no idea what the correct answer is though! How atrocious, to be refused access to such fundamental information. But, such is the way here. Which is why we love this forum so

I think that the name “flat earth” has been straw-manned to death. They’ve successfully lumped any/every anti-globe sentiment into this one all-inclusive flerfer thing.

Pretty smart actually, because if the argument was simply “the earth/our realm isn’t what we’ve been told it is and here’s why…” then it would be harder to dismiss. Convincing anybody that the earth isn’t a globe is a tall order though, because to accept that one must accept that they’ve been lied to by everybody and everything, that their precious and benevolent rulers aren’t their friends and so forth.
