Me too. Id like to see those books. If i get on my computer i will find them.

Another interesting tidbit is the near lack of any of those words mentioned between 1650 and 1750. This is a major reset age and thE maunder minimum.

Norman Mineta? The decision to ground planes on 9/11? I cannot find the exact quote with Google (or even Bing) (suppression anyone???) but I know (and saw on the public programming box) some relevant high-level Asian federal official (probably him) say that if something happens once it is an accident, if it happens twice it is a coincidence, and if it happens a third time it is program.

some kind of communication tech was present a long time ago ,Enki A Sumerin God, had a temple with a silver web in it and talking walls.( sounds for all the world like tv and internet) Sumeria had asphalt petroleum deposits that they used for energy and they made everything from a type of plastic to building mortar out of it . I watched a video by Nabonides Media that mentioned Sumerian metallurgy and the electro plating of various bronze items with gold or silver. I think scrying is an old technique t o contact Spiritual entities If they were electro plating metals they could just as well use asphalt coated metal surfaces bingo first computer screen. I have a theory about asphalt and this stuff called black goo which isnt exactly oil but is found near about deposits of petroleum supposedly a conscious kind of nano fluid. A bowl of that stuff amped with an electrical current might get you in contact with some entities
I bet if you were a metallurgist at the time you would have noticed these various phenomena. There are lots of references through the ages of people having this communications mirror tech. Like David Kelly ,John Dees medium . His mirror was Mexican Obsidian and it is in London museum to this day. Accounts of what communicated with them through this thing will raise the hair on the back your neck

Magic mirror is always used in conjunction with channeling evil spirits was then is now among those who do scrying. There are lots of modern versions like a spirit box which is a kind of TV I think if these cultures had a version of this technology or elements of it it was not in common use among everyday people

I like Feralimals cautionary words about assuming to much from legends and unexplained artifacts. I dont think that just because we have some indications of ancient tech that we think is out of place doesn't mean we necessarily had this great golden age civilization and that goes with it. The ancients also used extipacy reading the signs by the liver ,and the head of first born male which was specially prepared and kept in the home to be consulted when wisdom was needed, so there's that.

The show on netflix about technology destroying humanity is called black mirror and is a reference too cellphone screens... Its possible our technology is demonic magic used to destroy us... I defiantly think the truth of the past is completely made up or suppressed... The civilizations of the past were probably destroyed from the inside like ours is today... I think there are some people who utilize secrets to artificially extend there lives after reading about young blood treatment and pope innocent the 8th... If you ever read about what think tanks like the Travistock institute do you will realize that our "culture" and illusion of progress and current paradigm has been manufactured... TV is the most manipulative tool ever invented... How the subconscious works allows the television to incept your mind with ideas and come to conclusions you think are your own and or agree with but are manipulations.. No one wants to admit that TV manipulated them... Before TV it was radio and the newspapers and before that it was religion... There is good intentions and positives to all tech advancements but like magic it can be used for good or evil which have been the crux of all fantasy genre stories and movies we all love.

In Japan, bronze mirrors (imported from China c.300AD) were associated with Amaterasu, sun goddess and imperial ancestor—who, at the dawn of time, ordered her grandson to descend from heaven to rule over Japan and gave him a sacred mirror providing him and his successors perpetual access to the divine sun.

Throughout medieval Japan, mirrors were considered sacred objects—used not only in rarefied imperial ritual and display but also to ward off evil spirits and, when placed in Shinto shrines, to speak with the gods. source

?: Video Chat/face time?

??????

There is also the association of mirrors with snakes and the goddess Prudentia. Here it is from a building in Paris along with another occult symbol, the all seeing eye and of course THE WREATH.

And on the doors of the Jefferson Building at the LOC. Again surrounded by wreaths and garlands. Are these mirrors portable devices and the snake represents a charging cord?

And this piece from a tomb, here the snake is underfoot and she is holding a compass in one hand, and using the old crozier cloth grab to hold her mirror. Another magic artifact?

And she is two faced.

Prudence at Her Toilette

With all the occult symbols associated with mirror, I have to agree with KD that indeed some of these mirrors are magic.

This blog, Art and Mirror, talks a lot about mirrors throughout history, including this one that has some interesting thoughts on the convex mirrors in Northern Renaissance art, especially Giovanni Arnolfini and his Wife. The blogger compares the mirror at times to a computer, a camera, and a dreamcatcher.

Excellent spot. As I discuss Here it is my belief that mirrors were used as cameras pre renaissance. This could easily transcribe to computer tech.

No coincidence that mirrors remained an integral part of the camera right up to recent years and the advent of mirrorless camera tech.

A mirror is a refelective surface, and these surfaces occur all around. Who knows how many reflections depicted in books etc are actually somthing else?

My two cents,

I don't think technology of today existed in any shape or form in yester-year.
You have to remember that what we call technology are just many layers of abstractions off of basic natural phenomena.

Just looking at historic buildings, monuments, art, etc, it is pretty evident that the abstractions used to be different.
We think of ourselves as advanced, but that's only because we do not know/remember the fullness of history.
We are pretty good at silica manipulation, but not that good at rock manipulation (see megalithic structures).

If we did remember and understood the "technology" of the past, we would instantly question the assumptions on which we have built our technology.

If there is a silver lining to our stolen history, maybe it is that forgetting has allowed us to think outside of the box, so to speak, and come up with new paths to venture down.

They do today. But look at those buildings. Most of the time they are entirely functional, and as cheap as possible. With the exception of representative churches which are build for the practical purpose of impressing the religious followers, etc.

But what we don’t have today is that all churches, worldwide, are built in the same style with cost and manpower needed that exceeds everything that should have been available to our ancestors according to the official narrative.

For example, in the colonialist era of South America, we are talking about the practical purpose of brainwashing the Natives into Christianity. While architectural Beauty is certainly a beneficial factor in achieving this purpose, I would expect the colonialists to operate in a narrow time frame and with very limited manpower. Which means the only buildings I expect would be structures without insane ornaments and decoration.

The Mexico city cathedral took more than 200 years to build. This is a scope that defies logic. Imagine you want to convert someone to your religion but you then build something with the goal of completing it in the year 2200, and in the meantime you risk bankruptcy.

On one hand, these guys think 200 years into the future, on the other hand, they are not able to complete their sophisticated plans.

Even re-building the roof of of an ancient cathedral (Notre Dame) is such a complicated process that it creates a national debate and will probably take enormous amounts of money and 5-10 years.

According to the narrative, our ancestors would have already built and demolished 3 subsequent world fairs in the same time frame in which we manage to build a single roof.

Either humans were entirely different back then (almost a different species) or our level of technology was entirely different.

Economics always plays the most important role, because resources are limited. The worldwide renaissance style architecture defies the known economic logic. It means the structures weren’t built by ‚us‘.

That's what 'they' tell us to keep us locked into self policing compliance with the hidden system of slavery, ergo no physical chains just mental ones.

If you have technology which lets you build a cathedral without much effort within a couple days or weeks, that would mean it’s still economical.

Depending on the technology, the meaning of ‘economical’ may be different, but fundamentally humans will always do the least amount of work to achieve the best results.

In a world with practically free energy, and the availability of sound and magnetic technology, everyone can build a house. In our world, with regulation, arbitrary rules and limited access to supply chains, it often takes one or two years, despite high level of specialisation, and buying a house often means long-term indebtedness.

If there was not much effort involved in building there would be no need for gigantic buildings. Each could build whatever suits their needs and be done with it.
Left to their own devices that stands as truth. Coercion and compliance set humans on the path of 'hard work' to acieve bugger all, in my experience as you illustrate here
My point which I failed to make is most likely people of 'older times' didn't suffer the insanity of commerce aka having to pay for life. Money was neither needed or known. It seems to have arrived with the contrivance of history.

Added a few additional images to the OP. It’s almost like some people, mostly royalty and clergy, were “in the know”, while the rest had no idea what those objects were.

Also will update the OP with the below interesting 1835 excerpt.

Additionally, and this is mostly applicable to the Eastern Orthodox Church, as far as I understand, but... are we witnessing some sort of a cargo cult here? Were these originally simple facetime-type conversations with whoever?

Something similar to this here....

Steve Jobs offering us a poisoned apple? Looks like the same apple offered by the most widely known user of a magic mirror. Damn. It's like he was trying to warn us or laugh at us. Same black clothes. Same dismal background. Same smug expressions.

Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?
Alexa, who are People's 50 most beautiful people for 2019?

From the el-ite: An apple of discord is a reference to the Golden Apple of Discord which, according to Greek mythology the goddess Eris tossed in the midst of the feast of the gods at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis as a prize of beauty, thus sparking a vanity-fueled dispute among Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite that eventually led to the Trojan War (for the complete story, see The Judgement of Paris). Thus, "apple of discord" is used to signify the core, kernel, or crux of an argument, or a small matter that could lead to a bigger dispute... In some later sources, Eris inscribed on the apple "for the fair" or "to the most beautiful" before tossing it.

?: Sounds like the internet today. Apple of discord how apt. My husband and I always talk about how technology has pushed people farther apart rather than bring them together. It has sorted us into long distance tribes and leaves us with less and less in common with our neighbors, our families, and our local communities. When the next reset hits and the technology of today is destroyed, most of us are isolated islands in this modern world with no local support system or the survival skills to make it out alive.

Nobody mentioned Franz Bardon's "Initiation Into Hermetics". The book mentions about the magic mirrors. There are instructions on how to make one and how to use it in the chapters "step 8" and "step 9".

There is also a help book called "A Bardon Companion" by author named Rawn Clark.
