I have a few projects to accomplish in my backyard. Gonna be somewhat busy for a few days. I will update this thread when done with house projects. Meanwhile wanted to suggest our forum members to scrutinize the below 16th century map.
In my opinion this map demonstrates that Ancient Rome and Holy Roman Empire occupy the same time frame.

Hint: It can be either one time period, or the other.

The Colosseum is shown to be perfect, standing at the same time as the Pantheon and the St Peter Cathedral in the Vatican. Mmm.

The map would make sense if one renames "Re-naissance" to "Naissance".

That's just what I was about to say. I was always suspicious of those illustration from that time period saying this was what the 15th or 16th century author thought ancient Rome looked like lol.

Speaking of which, I was looking at old Rome pictures last year and remember narrowing the time the Colosseum got wrecked was some time in the late 16th century.

Another color version and less text:

And another:

There are versions available from other authors that show a half devastated Rome though:

However, this was my favorite. It shows the pyramid structures near the Vatican.

Pyrrho Ligorio was his name so used him in Gibiru searches. Discovered he was a Vatican architect and was employed by Cardinals and Popes, what a shock, not really.
Did find this though which seems to elate to the op image Old, antique map - bird's-eye view of ancient Rome by Braun and Hogenberg | Sanderus Antique Maps

Old map - bird's-eye view of ancient Rome by Braun and Hogenberg.

Engraving reprinted from Urbis Romae totius olim orbis domitricis situs ... P. Ligorio Inventor. Pirro Ligorio first published the map in Rome in 1552, then in a smaller format in 1553. His plate, made in 1570, was printed unchanged by Braun & Hogenberg; it was reprinted several times during the 17th and 18th centuries, including in David Köhler's Descriptio orbis antiqui, published in Nuremberg by Christoph Weigel c. 1720.

TRANSLATION OF CAPTION: Layout of the city of Rome with the remains of the old monuments as they can still be seen today, drawn by Pyrrhus Ligorius of Naples. Rome 1570.

COMMENTARY BY BRAUN: "The city of Rome, famed all over the world, is also the queen, the head and the embellishment of the whole world, situated on the River Tiber, built by Romulus in the 11th year of the rule of Ezekiel, the king of Judah, and given the name Rome by him. According to Pliny, this city had 30 open gates and seven closed ones. Rome also has seven hills, the Capitol is the main hill, on which was found the famous temple of the great heathen god Jupiter, which surpassed all the marvellous works of the Egyptians. Between the city and the Tiber is the Field of Mars, adorned with wonderful buildings."

Date of the first edition: 1575
Date of this map: 1623

Duh, they're the same thing. I've known that since being a child in church.
Threw an extra 1000 years or so on the calendar to try and obfuscate their dirty deeds.

I wonder if whatever did their cities was the same as what did our cities over here...
Just LATER...
Got some insights reading SETH about a past culture that sounded like it could be the missing link. Not sure it's applicable HERE though. Perhaps I'll share LATER.

something Ive been realizing that what we are is told is consecutive is actually concurrent, So what we think are Gothic ,Classical, etc Mayan and so forth are all contemporaneous empires. or something like that.
around the 1800s(?) "The UnHoly Roman Empire" meditized all the royal houses of the world.....Meditized Imperial States Of the Holy Roman Empire < !SHTF, NEW WORLD ORDER!

this affected all royals houses the world over if you start studying this site you find Emperors and various sovereigns in Africa ,South America ,India ,China, Vietnam all over Asia ,it was like agree to meditize or face extinction ,some are now extinct.
the remaining ones are now big corporate juggernauts in banking and shipping and mining, building and whatnot ,just clearing houses divying up the corpse.
Royal progeny all get a cut,you get nothing you're a serf
