I interpreted it the opposite way. Because people were living longer, they had more of a population to serve in the military, so they no longer had to have people serve for life. The years required went down, as the population went up (due to longevity), because they would still be able to maintain their military with people serving shorter lengths. Kind of like how we don't have any draft today, because the population is high enough that there are plenty of people willing to serve in the military.

Well, it depends of course. If your military is controlled by malign interests, then it's crazy. But if your military actually is there to protect your nation and borders I think it's sense of duty.

Mark Twain tells us where are all the dead in "The Mysterious Stranger".
Here is a well done animation of the story....

At 3:40 in the video he tells us.

The storyline in the video is mind boggling. I think it sums up a lot of things we were talkibg about on this forum.

Had no idea Clemens had this book.

This pestilential lethal "smell" emanating from a blond, white child is the creation of Sulfur dioxide from the magneto-electrical field of a comet("white" child). Sulfur dioxide is extremely injurious to the lungs and can kill by causing edema(fluid) in the lungs.
  • Inhalation: VERY TOXIC, can cause death. Can cause severe irritation of the nose and throat. At high concentrations: can cause life-threatening accumulation of fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema). Symptoms may include coughing, shortness of breath, difficult breathing and tightness in the chest. A single exposure to a high concentration can cause a long-lasting condition like asthma. If this occurs, many things like other chemicals or cold temperatures can easily irritate the airways. Symptoms may include shortness of breath, tightness in the chest and wheezing. {Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome (RADS)}.

  • Understanding Sulfur Dioxide Health Advisory Levels
    • Good (0–0.1 ppm)
      No cautionary statement.
    • map-dot-16x16-2-moderate.png Moderate (0.1–0.2 ppm)
Unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
    • map-dot-16x16-3-unheathy-sensitive-grps.png Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (0.2–1.0 ppm)
Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
    • map-dot-16x16-4-unhealthy.png Unhealthy (1.0–3.0 ppm)
Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors. Everyone else, especially children, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
    • map-dot-16x16-5-very-unhealthy.png Very Unhealthy (3.0–5.0 ppm)
Active children and adults, and people with lung disease, such as asthma, should avoid all outdoor exertion. Everyone else, especially children, should avoid prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
    • map-dot-16x16-5-hazardous.png Hazardous ( > 5.0 ppm)
Triggers health warnings of emergency conditions. Entire population is more likely to be affected. Avoid outdoor activities & remain indoors. Leave the area if directed by Civil Defense.
  • The SO2 and weather data used in this program are collected by the National Park Service at the Jaggar Museum and Kilauea Visitor Center monitoring sites. The SO2 concentrations measured at the monitoring sites are reviewed every 15 minutes and one of six advisory levels of health concern are assigned for that 15-minute period for each site.

That sounds like a perfectly reasonable, scientific explanation. Problem is, after that event it became a law that any blonde child that was at least 5 years old should be killed. I wondered why you had to wait til they were 5 if they were considered such a threat but hair color changes quite a bit when you're very young so maybe that had something to do with it.

It's called sympathetic magic-kill the child whose likeness of the hair to a comet to ward off evil.

Was the comet around for 5 years before the EVENT? Who knows.

That makes so much more sense than an actual child wandering around killing people with his B.O.

There's a project called "Shrinking Cities":

shrinkingcities : Welcome

I can't really see any signs for exponential growth and overpopulation anywhere. If I didn't know about official populaton number and growth I would think that we are actually experiencing the exact opposite.

The countries with the alleged population explosions are the least transparent and trustworthy when it comes to population statistics.

Japan's demographic collapse points to grim future

The project's prognosis is this:

Usually the stories is that the countryside is shrinking, but it seems even big cities are shrinking everywhere.

I do find it strange when you look at the population stats of the rust belt cities of America (Buffalo, Toronto, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago). They are all going through a massive rebirth. It's all cranes in the sky, apartments and retail space for everyone. We're converting old meat warehouses and 6-story turn-of-the-20th-century liveries (how did they get them horses up to the 6th floor?) into Google office spaces. Every day there is a newly proposed 5-story retail/office space/loft on the ol' strip.

Yet each one is losing population, year after year. Even Vancouver is starting to trail off.

This article could be posted in a number of threads here, I chose this one...

Old coal mines can be 'perfect' underground food farms
Abandoned coal mines across the UK could be brought back to life as huge underground farms, according to academics.

Mine shafts and tunnels are seen as "the perfect environment" for growing food such as vegetables and herbs.

The initiative is seen as a way of providing large-scale crop production for a growing global population.

4:44 Life itself is only a vision, a dream. Nothing exists save empty space and you, and you are but a thought.

This is probably exactly how an out of control A.I. would conceive the universe. Has anyone considered something like an A.I. built long ago could be responsible for the "resets" etc? Totally and absolutely hypothetical of coarse.

I think an inverted version of the statement sounds much better personally. "Life itself is the only true reality, its quality is consciousness. Nothing exists save light and you, and you are of the light".

Population data doesn't make sense. The assumption many make is that a) in the past the population has similar cosmology than now. Wrong. b) That they were less developed and died young age. Wrong.

It seems to me we are living a pre cataclysmic era with inherited trauma based reality that will take generations to heal, ie return to higher planes of reality.

We should not mix the living conditions of the past purely on post apocalypse era where likely individuals and tribes were at constant war for survival (to put it simply).

I also think that in the past they (or some of them) selected and made population with performance in mind. This humanistic thinking where everybody is the same and every life worth prolonging indefinitely was considered as an impossible task. (Realistic thinking, logos). Therefore they didnt waste all resources on loosing battle but chipped the energy to projects with continuity. This could have resulted in so extraordinary development in all fronts that we surely cant even imagine how intelligent selection could look like after 10, 100 generations? They may not have had democracy which is the rule of the mediocre (at best) but ruling based on wisdom, performance vs. consensus of the mob?

I propose here that the pre flood civilisation was so fantastic, that we cant even imagine it, thus these huge differences in all projections. Maybe life as we know it was based on totally different kind of set of reality than now is accepted by the modern darwinians.

At the same token I also propose that we are the descendants of whatever that ancient civilisation created in their labs for their perfect new world, but when the dome broke, we became savages in the garden.

I agree. Whenever pre-flood was, maybe 1000 years ago, maybe 2000 or 3000, but if that past would be made into a movie, we would probably be blown away. That's my conclusion after realizing that even life 500 years ago was so entirely different based on all what we have figured out. Just like things devolve into progressively worse states, a healthy society would evolve into a better state with each new generation, that is until the spiral gets reversed for some reason.

Where are the remains of all of those people? Take all of the burial centers of the world and add them together, and you still will not come up with the real estate needed to contain those bones. Even our archaeologists are astounded when they locate only a small percentage, even in areas where supposedly they were all contained and kept intact due to ice or mud or lava that might preserve them and keep them from deteriorating. The bones dammit! Show me the bones!
