The first picture looks like a chopped off topper to a much larger building. It’s like someone took just the last layer of a wedding cake and set it up as the whole cake.

Theres somthing round in the sky in in the right of the panaramic too. Looks low and possibly tethered.

Look at these three versions of the same photo:

You might have noticed that it differs not only in colours and skies, but in the people as well. E.g. 3 people in the lower-left corner of the first photo are absent from the second.

Btw, TinEye is much better at searching similar images than Google.

@KorbenDallas A few weeks back, a new service was released that maps building's alleged age (documented on citywalls, which is the biggest Russian site about buildings in Saint-Petersburg) to OpenStreetMap data. It's called "How old is this house?" Quite interesting to look at.
