Inconsistencies in the Solar System model, and the astrophysics/maths required to make it work, does not mean the earth is not globular...
In fact, it all points to the Solar System model itself being absolutely wrong... Why is every other star system a binary system but not ours?
Well... what if we DO live in a binary system?
try chapter 2 of the Tychos book. screw flat earth. Tychos explains/gets rid of all astronomical anomalies... yes it would require some re-writing of astrophysical principles but it solves the "speeding through space"/"no stellar parallax" question, the "400x distance/size" sun/moon malarky. also requires the universe to be a lot smaller and definitely NOT expanding at the rate currently proposed.
will probably make a separate thread about that when I've got the time to focus

that video is so bunk. how he starts with "the horizon always appears perfectly flat". it just doesn't.
most times (unless at the sea shore, or out in open ocean) we don't even have a proper view of any sort of horizon.

The tychonic model is pretty great. For those unfamiliar, this is a great starting point.
I agree that the largest, most glaring holes are in the heliocentric model itself. That’s not to say that there aren’t inconsistencies with the globe model though; namely the observable curvature and some well documented observable distances. It could just be a far larger globe though, and wouldn’t be the first time that the truth was part of the lie.

This thread is a disorganized mess. I should have prefaced the original post with a list or outline to present a coherent arrangement of proofs. I did make one years ago, but it's too bulky to put here.
The first item would be photographic proof, such as the one above.

Hey Grav, I agree it's a bit messy, but worth it in the end as it keeps people engaged. Not to derail, but today is time change in USA and I wonder if there is some connection with FE? Pure speculation.
Also, while I admittedly haven't fact checked historical topographic survey results, they are apparently all consistently saying no curve up or down. I suppose one could also probably do this type of survey if they knew how, I don't.
The new Tycho's system developed by Simon Shack destroys the Heliocentric/Newtonian system totally , the heliocentric model is defunct . Bought the book 18 month's ago . Nice model - the 2nd chapter is not titled screw flat earth by the way . His brilliant destruction of the heliocentric model is very thorough.
His binary model centres on earth rotating every 24 hrs whilst travelling along its path in the binary system at a sedentary 1 mph . No need for an expanding universe . All mainstream planetary and astronomical distances are shown to be fantasy - I get the feeling that he does not realise the implications of that .
Very enlightening to see that such an excellent Geophysicist also can throw the ridiculous globe model aside . Brave indeed.

That is the analemma of the Sun - all heavenly bodies exhibit this analemma , moon stars etc. All due to motion of the earth in my opinion .
Stars don't move in relation to each other therefore I would ascribe these phenomena to a rythmic tilting motion of the landmasses upon the aesthenosphere - the liquid layer beneath the land . Would explain the tides throughout the oceans. Land locked bodies of water are not tidally affected since their waters are contained within the land mass itself and any tidal effect would be difficult to assess due to their relatively small size.
Changing air pressure caused by the passage of the Sun would be be the main driver of this . You did ask for an opinion so this be mine for now.
Can't figure out how anything but a stationary earth would enable us to observe these predictable rhythmic motions of the heavenly bodies.

me too. A spinning, spiralling globe would see new star patterns every day. Tycho Brahe said stellar parallax would rewrite the constellations every 6 months. But the Vatican persuaded him to see otherwise.
Thanks to memes, we can visualize things that words can't properly address, like the path the sun takes when it forms the analemma.
I wish there were a site that collected and organized memes by some logical method. Proceeding from, maybe, 1. heliocentric claims 2. photographic evidence 3. math and physics, 4, 5 , 6, etc.
And the hydroplate theory needs more attention. Hydro = water. Instead of tectonic plates of molten rock or metals or whatever.
It jibes with "ancient" creation myths about earth being formed inside a watery universe.
I have found some possible hydroplate images which show our plane.t sitting above a layer of "heavy" water. not heavy in the typical scientific definition.
I don't see how geologists can know anything about what lies below us, any more than astronomers having a clue about what lies above the dome. The deepest hole eder dug/drilled was 7.5 miles deep.

Or, more likely, the person who wrote the script for these slides is not the narrator. The later videos were the same narrator but a different script-writer. One clue that the narrator is not the writer are the many mispronunciations of basic topic-related vocabulary. The original writer may have departed this world voluntarily or by force but it’s very clearly not the same writer. He backtracks on all the key points and undermines every point he made. The original writer may have been one person (‘Aewar’) or a team and whoever they are their aim was to expose the truth and I have no doubt what he / she / they showed using the Prague clock model was the truth of our ‘clock model’ earth. By the way, watch the new film Bugonia for flat earth references of the fake / disinformation kind. Anything to discredit the truth, eh?
